very nice vector, and you used the right shades of grayscale here to get a really great color combination although of course i have some small complaints--i wish you would remove those radial gradients from her face, shadows from the hair shouldnt be so round--same with the one on the edge of her right cheek--those shadows should be sharper. and also the gradients/brushes w.e on the shadows of her arm--actually those should be sharper shadows so they shouldnt radial gradient into the highlight, rather they should gradient away--i would say just lessen the width of that part. i do know what you have a much better eye than this for shading >_>and i personally think different text is needed--smaller on the first part, less narrow on the title portion--with some effects aside from the gradient, and the tad of red would be better in blue or yellow to complement her lovely eyes >D

but anyways thats enough for the nitpick, i srsly love the graytones you chose--first gray tone wall in a while that i've liked in terms of color usage >D

*cough* now the wall. i feel like the text is necessary but then i don't feel like the current look clicks. can't give you precise advice in that, but sans serif and serif tend not to go together that well. the vector is nice (rawr i don't like vectoring in illustrator, just as you told me i wouldn't) but i feel like the blurring is too much in places, namely her face and neck and his arms. the contour that blurring creates isn't right so that's why. but i love the sleekness of that gun - violence is bad, but nice vectoring there. xD;;

Finally! A Phantom wall! I really like how you preserved the blue and red colors while desaturating everything else. Blue and Red symbolize the conflict between peace and war, calm and restless, etc. and so by retaining these you allowed the subtle symbolism that explains the text. Thanks for this!

Nice wallpaper. It looks simply done but it isn't. The vectoring and shading fits nicely. I like your style cause you made the spotlight and focus of the main subject appear attractive. That, I applaud.

Many other wallpapers have too many designs and graphics and it totally blows off the main focus.

This is weird. Not your wallpaper, rather, I was on last.fm the other day, and I came across a picture of Janet Jackson that is similar to this (except there isn't an entire arm over the breasts, just two hands.) This will seem random if I don't comment on the actual wallpaper, so: a bit of experimentation would have been nice in the background instead of plain black, but it also works fine with just the focus on your gorgeous vector :D Keep up the work.

I guess I'm a bit late on this one but I really wanted to leave a comment. I think your work is always so refined an unique, you can take a overly complected scan and make it simple and elegant. I like how open and vulnerable she looks, even with a gun she has a sexy innocent vibe. I like the bold text and color choices, mixed with the creepy, mysterious "light being engulfed by darkness" atmosphere. Really great depth perception and detailing. A++ and a fav. Glad your back to walling again :3

Entrancing! Ahh.. Requiem for the Phantiom... a truly underated anime that i really enjoyed watching... this perfectly express the show

What can I say? To say I love this may seem deep down wrong considering the content in this picture and I've really been battling with my conscience ever since, but I love it's simplistic beauty. Light and dark shades are put to good use, the pureness of the female face and form representing the light, yet the darkness of the man's arm suggestively covering her chest from behind whilst she holds her pistol aloft. Nice use of contrast with the black winning over the white to enhance the girl's vunerability. It's beautiful, erotic and very Fifty Shades of Grey and I got to have this on my desktop.
