A Gakuen Alice wallpaper featuring Mikan Sakura. I vectored the image from the Chapter 115 cover, which features other characters as well, but I only focused on Mikan because she's my favorite. I find her expression very solemn and she looks very mature, not to mention beautiful. I wanted a grunge wallpaper, so I got messy with the brushes to make the background. I added cherry blossoms to complete it.
Here's the original scan. I vectored only Mikan, removed Natsume out of the picture, and redrew the missing parts of her hair.

So cute! I love Mikan! you did a really awesome job reconstructing the hair! I would have never known. the multi-color sakura tree background is cute, but a bit dark in some parts and it blends too well with the hair.

An amazing wallpaper yet again. I find this one quite unusual. Mikan is usually in light backgrounds and now this one is dark and eerie. I like it very much. The cherry blossoms in the background work well with the dark shadings and the color combination. The reconstruction of Mikan's hair is done excellently and I love the shadings and the highlights on her hair. The eyes are perfect for the theme. Mikan's the perfect example of innocence stained with impurity.

I've been waiting for someone to vector that image. I'm glad you removed Natsume. I don't like him that much. Mikan's a real beauty and you made a wonderful background to go with the really cool vector. The Sakura vector in the background is a nice touch there. This is certainly one eerie wallpaper, but looking at Mikan makes me relaxed.

Nice work redrawing her hair. The soft blends and blurs help with your interpretation of the original scan. The background you chose is nice as well :)

Her empty face is flowing cursed cool air. Grotesque coloring in the background is very horrible.
