I'm glad to see you've put out another wall :) I think the background looks awesome. You've done a great job with blending it and making it look like an ideal background. The black lines give Ed a nice stood out look and gives a unique look to the wall and that works great with the entire piece as well. However, I think that Ed's bangs could be adjusted a little to match the painting you did with the rest of the wall. Also, maybe the darkest vector shadow of his ribs could be blended the way the midtones blend (they sort of stick out a little). Overall, the colors are lovely and the wall looks great! Nice work~ ^^

lovely background and also nice for the vectoring... though the black outline rather to thick, esp in his hair, but the blending between Ed and the bg is just good enough to see...

This is a very nice piece of work. I like the way you coloured it in a more realistic way. The composition is very well thought out to draw most attention to the character, aspecialy the automail.

The only critique i will give, and this is just a suggestion, is: to maiby add a few hard-shadows, just a little bit can make for a picture with better definition, and might help your eyes not to get lost within the fleshcolours especially.

Just a thought though, very well done.

i love it :3 the only small complaint i have is that the foreground looks all pastel-ish and flat while the bg looks epic with all the lighting--i think you should create some lighting in his hair and on the edges where the light is coming from behind just to blend it a bit more but other than that i really love it!

The wall is spectacular. I love the amount of detail on the hand, as well as a bit forgotten technique of mixing sharp vector edges with smooth, painted filling - this is what makes this wall unique! Unbelievable piece, really!

Hey, saw this one in SZ a while ago but totally forgot about it ^__^" Sorry about that, but I think the final version has turned out really well. Nice job on the background, looks pretty cool. I like the use of colors, they really give the wall that gritty, dark-ish style. The only thing I don't like is the outlines on Ed's hair. They're too black and too thick, giving it a cartoony look, while the rest is more realistic.

Nice wallpaper dude. Its been time now that i have seen new members make wallpapers that look pleasing to the eyes.Good wallpaper indeed, but i would do a bit of suggestion and put my two cents. Firstly that your scan looks good. I have no critiques against it. The background is good looking but it could have been better. The torn building behind his cape looks good but looks very fake maybe because of its edge.. Needs a bit of perspective i guess. Then everything is fine except the minaret. I hope u know what that is. Its that building behind his hands..The one with slits in it and the pigeon flying around it..Well that looks literally bad. No offence but it does not go with the background. Maybe because of 2 reasons. (1) that the minaret has edges that look very weird as if it was extracted using a magic wand. And (2) because the pigeon flying around it looks a bit off "graphics". I hope you shall do better next time. I appreciate your hard work put into this. Keep it up

Wow, the background and the vector details are amazing. I love the color theme and how well the character fits with the background. The tower in the back is a bit too blurry, but except it, every thing looks very good ^ 3^

This is a pretty good vector - you definitely did a good job with his arm. You imbued the scene with a sense of melancholy. Good job =)

Excellent wallpaper. The colours create a really unique mood. My only complaint is that Ed's skin looks slightly lumpy and the details too smooth as opposed to other areas of the wall.

This wallpaper is nothing short of excellence. You re-worked the scan and created a scene with ability rarely seen from members of your status. I'm thoroughly impressed and hope you continue on this promising route and deliver more such walls in the future.

I think this is a hauntingly beautiful wall, I say hauntingly because of the subject, Ed is such a painful character to watch and I think that in this moment you captured the essence of his pain. The vectoring is very impressive and so is the painting you gave his body a lot more depth and volume which I like because it makes him look stronger. The background is eerily beautiful, you can feel the destruction in the air almost. This is a very good wall and I love how you combined a strong yet sad character with the right atmosphere and perception. A+ and a fav. :)

i love the background, i think it's amazing. though the muscles on the side do stand out a bit much. the colors are great, they blend in nicely and it all goes together really well. i feel nostalgic just looking at it^^

Overall the colors are really nicely blended together. Only thing that bugs me is the contrast between the arm and the dark bg. It just seems too bright, that's all but other then that, nice work. fav.

Very well done background. Good job on the painting Although i must say edward blends pretty well with the background the thick outline still kinda make him look out of place(just my 3 cents worth of suggestion =P) keep up the good work!

That scan you picked is a real winner in my book. There's so much detail in it and you preserved and amplified all of it beautifully. And then there's an equally detailed and awesome backdrop. If that isn't a formula for success, I don't know what is.
