Okay, I like this one. On a more personal level then many others I have seen before. We are not looking at a sexy anime girl. Instead you picked a character that from the picture, is expressing control, responsibility and a fighting spirit. The background you use is very subtle the use of snow is a good choice from the series, and due to the overall theme of walking a path (or searching for it) in the middle of a cold storm. -much like the world we live in at times-

The vector is well done. You add lighting that would actually occur from snow and the sun. Even the method you use streaking the snow path due to snow storm vision shows an attention to detail.

I totally agree with the dudes who commented above me. Soujiro was made to look like one of Shishio's croonies, they should've given him a part in the OVAs. O~O And your wallpaper is very well done-- I like the soft directional lighting that you put on him, it really enunciates the text in the wallpaper. However I think you could make it more realistic by adding some more blurry snow in the right hand corner or in front of Soujiro to add more depth and to make up for the absence of snow falling on his shoulder and head. This can be overlooked though. :)

Fantastic vector but it seems a little let down by the lack of background, the snow is there but there is no depth or shadow despite him looking like he's walking somewhere! Great vector again though!

Ohhhh~ its very infrequent to find a soujirou wallpaper ^.^ Very clean. Kinda of plain, but cute. Keep up the good work.

I love the concept and the style. Simple scenes like this always make the best walls to me. :) The background is simple but nice, and the text is well done too, although I think a textless version would look nice also. I like the vector's colors, and the shading on the shadowed areas looks great. I also like how you made up an entirely different background than the one on the scan.

The lines look stroked to me; it would look much better if you traced them manually. Some parts, like around the hair appear to be aliasing. Not sure why, but that can probably be easily corrected if you used Photoshop. There's a bit on the lower right side of his garment that should have color, but doesn't. There's also a line on the bottom of the vector that's kind of distracting, although it wouldn't show up if you have your taskbar on the bottom.

Overall, I think it looks good, but I think you could make it look even better. :)

I love soujiro, and the theme this wallpaper has goes excellently with him =D

Soujiro is one of my favorite Rurouni Kenshin characters, along with Hajime Saito. The phrase "searching for my path" definately goes with what Soujiro goes through in the series, but I guess that's why you wrote them in the first place right :P Also, interesting background. It looks kind of like the second anime opening. Kudos.
