Inspired by the quote "Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower"
This piece took me a while to finish probably cause i was unorganized when i was making it, i had other things to do and did not commit myself into finishing it. all my ideas where all so different each day so i struggled making but in the end i ended up with this final result.
i wanted to keep it simple and clean with green and brownish-red being the main colours. i didnt want it having to much going on i restricted myself �_� this biatch took awhile to finish! so ENJOY IT ^^
EDIT* ok ok after much consideration i took in chibi-vampire229 advice only cuz i spent to much time on this wall to let it go. sooo thanks chibi-vampire229 for the advice. CHANGES* - bigger and longer signature (Wallpaper (c) ~ Jast) - Different font (Tw Cen MT) + darker. - Placed the quote next to the boy.

I love the canvas texture effect you have and the painterly look of the apple. If you could, I think you should try adding a paint effect to the boy to unify the whole painted canvas look. Since he looks cut out, there is an incomplete collage feel that conflicts with the painting feel. I think it's better if you move the quote more to the bottom right, a bit underneath the apple, and change the font to something larger and/or a darker color, like a dark brown. That way it would be more readable and the space around the boy wouldn't look cramped. I like the idea you have with the leaves, but I think you should try using a larger brush or a brush with larger leaves to match in proportion to the apple. Otherwise they look like teeny-tiny itsy-bitsy leaves. The plaid pattern matches the color scheme, so you don't really need to change it, but since he's wearing a kimono, maybe you could use an autumnish Japanese pattern or a pattern that they use in the manga.
Anyway, these are all just suggestions. I don't want to sound too critical, but I hope that it helps!

The textures on this are wonderful, but I'm thinking there's too little contrast between the background and the character... I think it would be a little better if you had given a little bit more light to at least the face. Overall it was a wonderful piece.
