Rurouni Kenshin petals of the past

I like it, it kind of reminds me of a Japanese picture... *stares* By that I wasn't implying anime ^__^;;; YAY!! I'M FIRST TO COMMENT!! XD

The background is really good :) the textured added to it really makes it blend with the character, without it i think it would look "off". the vectoring job was also really good, I haven't ever watched kenshin, but I'm sure other fans will like it lots :P

Whoa, nice style on the character, and the sword is just too awesome! Very beatiful background, a really nice wallpaper.

Although the background is pretty, I think it's a tad odd that Kenshin seems like he's floating, since he's placed against a portion of the tree that's high up and not its base. Also, his face looks a little off, but that could just be the scan itself (haven't seen the original picture myself so I wouldn't know).

i'd have to agree with bellatora, kenshin does look like he's floating, but i'd have to say that i really like the bg a lot! it has a nice texture to it! i'm just not sure if the scan and text matches the bg though...but very well done! keep up the good job :)

The background is pretty and I like the cherryblossoms but its color doesn't seem to match Kenshin very well. Also, I'm not a big fan of the random blood blotches behind him...the blood inself contradicts the peaceful scenery.

The concept is nice overall and I really like that Kenshin scan so I'll hand you kudos for your efforts ^_~

The thumbnail looks great. At full size, jpeg artifacts are visible. (save at higher level) The background may be too contrasting to the scan. The texture helps separate.

The red against blue got my attention - nice contrast. :3

If you've ever seen Japanese tapestry, then you can appreciate the way the background is done. It reminds me a weave done with oil-based paints, only more vibrant. Also, the image of Kenshin from this wall is especially powerful, and lends itself well to the finished product.

I really like the scan of kenshin, and I like this wallpaper. My only complaint is that backround to me does not really fit.

Hmmm love it. The only thing i dont like is the texture of the background it just seems a little out of place, but otherwise its still good 7 out of 10 -CISIM

I like it a lot. I like how it looks like it's a real picture on a real textile (knitted...) Also the color usage is good, they look well balanced.

I love it. It reminds me of a canvas. The vector image is really nice. I've seen this pic somewhere before, but I can't find it now. Cool paper!
