This is one of my favorite scenes out of all of the anime I have ever watched.

The x-mas tree in the bg was blurred on purpose, I wanted it to be apart of the background, and draw less attention from the vector. It also serves as a great place to place icons when set as a desktop.
The background is also a vector made from a screen shot I extracted from a flash back taiga has during the santa bear episode. So I thought it fit in very nicely with the image.
The wall was made for 1920x1600 (16:9) So I'd suggest that one if you have a choice. :D
We heard you like towers so we put a mosaic of this tower on this tower.

Wow, you did all that work from that scan? That's incredible work for a first timer! Love the out of focus background, no need to explain as far as i'm concerned, it fits in really well! Obviously it's not quite christmas yet so you're not likely to get huge feedback like you would do come december it shouldn't take away the great work you've done! I'm gonna favorite this one and tag is xmas so I can come back to it later when it's a little colder! Thanks!

Awesome :). I like how you added colors and the painting (I believe you painted it, hm?). It looks a bit jiggly in the thumb-nail, so I recommend to everyone a full-view! Since I don't like the anime, nor the girl, I won't +fav it. It's still great though and thank you for sharing :). dS.

Yeah, some of it doesn't look the best when its shrunk down. Probably because of the blur. But in full view its looks good. So expand it before you decide :D
I hadn't thought about waiting for Christmas to post it, I guess if I had, it would see more hits.

Personally, I think it's cute, and a really good idea, but there is something missing for it to match up to my taste. It's too.......... unfinished for a work of art. For example this tutorial works somewhat the way you were working.I think if you followed it, this wall might rise at least 2 letter grades.
