Hi again! This wall is for Competition 9 in the Scenic group. Even though it's a rather easy round, only 2 members have joined. PLEASE JOIN IT TOO 8D! I hope it's still open >>;;
About the wall, I did a super simple scene because my drawing is plain, and, of course, because I'm lazy BD. Actually, it's because I have no skill. It'll be another 500 years before I can paint a background like @Nysha or catch up to my sister's art from 4 years ago.
*is super depressed* Well, I didn't want to spend too much time on this because it's just a unplanned WIP that I wanted to finish (the lines are rough because I drew the picture small and with a pencil). But it kept looking bad so I spent a long time on it anyways ==; I'm still not satisfied with the result... because I forgot to give her collarbones... And the grass leaves much to be desired (lol I think that phrase is funny). I hope the colors are ok on everyone's monitors. Hm? Realistic lighting? What's that? Lol.
Lovely paper textures are from Dioma's deviantArt and CG Textures.

P.S. *semi-random* Networking is super important for one's success you know? As an example, my walls only get good ratings because my friends comment on them (though this one might be so ugly that no one wants to comment). In real life, having connections help people to find good jobs and other things too. I gotta quit being lazy and go meet more good people in real life! (Make sure you don't comment/fave just because you know me! 8D)
P.P.S. My wrist and forearm are starting to hurt again. If I learn to use the mouse properly with my left hand, I can become ambidextrous!

What a super cute and colorful wallpaper you've got going on! I love the... I guess... "furry" grass you've got! Actually, I like the style of the wallpaper as a whole, that furry style, I dunno what to call it actually! My only criticism would be that the left side is empty, it could have done with some small text to break up the wide gap, but I guess this makes it a great desktop wallpaper! I hope you consider us higher resolution (1920x1200 >_>) users in the future!

Wow, hehehe that description is hilarious! XD Never expected someone to mention that about me (and link that pic!). XP Lol, your style is really cute and smooth, and the colors are nice and vibrant. The lines are kinda rough, but they can be fixed by vectoring them. :) Overall it's a nice, simple, and charming wall.

Colors and effects in the wallpaper are really amazing. They are drawing graceful sunset for the girl and her friend. Your original sence is very excellent.

Aww cute kitteh! I first thought that this was from a scan. I had no idea it was an OAA! Great work on it. As some of the others have mentioned, the outlines seem a bit rough. Maybe it would be better if you vectored over the outlines? The sky looks great though. I like the color combinations used in it.
And shush! I don't fav just because i know you. I've had friends walls unfav'd too. So if i fav, it means you deserved it. ;D

.....nysha's painting skills are just inhuman *still in shock* your drawing's so cute *-* are those lines just the pencil lines + scanned? the only part i dont quite like is the grass, probably cuz there's a line and the pointy grass blades coming out

'P.S.' stands for "post scriptum", or for the non-latin speaking folks "post script". It also stands for "playful seals", depending on who you ask =P
Great colors, and as always wonderful style with the characters. I'm not too fond of the texture over the character, specifically the textures over the dark lines and outlines since I'm a stickler for keeping outlines nice and consistent. But that's just me though.
Next time you might want to try alternating textures between different (or even within the same) objects. For instance, texturing the sky differently from the grass would give a nice contrast, and liven things up. Also, what's up with the weird resolution o_o

This wall is really nice,I love the warm colors and the texture over it^^ Also,the lines look nice rough like that,I'm kinda bored with tons of perfect lines vectored lately...it's not all about the quality,it's the idea that counts...well,that's what I think anyways... The grass looks fine to me,maybe it would look better if it had a bit bigger branches,but blah blah...all in all,it's a really nice wall
