Oh, stylish wallpaper! I don't know much of the series but this wall feels very Nana-ish to me. Very nice vector~ But I think her underarm lacks detail, so it looks kind of strange, especially compared to the shading of the rest of the wall.

I only have a few icons on my desktop so I always move them for walls 8D But even though I don't need the empty space for icons, I like your icon-friendly version better! It's very interesting *_* It's like she's on the other side of a wall.

hmm i feel very odd about there not being darker shadows on the floor. if you figure out wher the light is coming from and stretch the shadows i think it would really look phenomenal, whereas right now it kind of falls flat. nice use of greytones though >3

okay time for an actual comment --___---- lol i feel the shadows under her is quite weird also it feels as if it's not exactly matching the floor it was fine in the preview, but in full view it's kindda weird

so nice of u to provide an icon friendly version ;A; my desktop is 3x that white bar crowded

... Or you could use a Mac which aligns icons to the right by default.

grayscale. :] always stands out for me. and i love nana! ai yazawa's art doesn't easily translate into pretty wallpapers for me so alas, i have never had the courage/inspiration to wall nana myself.

in this wall, i quite like the petals and i am fond of her hair. it is really prettily vectored. but i do have a complaint about nana's shadow though. the drop shadow sort of look doesn't do the vector justice and looks a little sloppy -- try considering the light source, imagining the surface on which nana is lying, and seeing how her 3D body would cast the actual shadow. the shadows of things (ie. the tips of some tresses of hair) lying directly on a surface would be darker, have more defined edges, and, of course, be adjacent to the things themselves; the shadows of things not in direct contact with a surface would be lighter, have blurrier edge, and be further away from whatever is casting them. it's something that would pull a piece together but something that requires the extra time and thought to draw by hand. (sometimes, don't follow the scan! it can lie. >xD)

still, nice work.

I usually go for very bright, energetic wallpapers...but there's something about this one that has captured me. It's actually the opposite of what I go for, but I really love it. I love how she's at peace, and especially the fact that it's black and white.
