Azumanga Daioh Osaka

The background is way too blurry, to the point that it makes my eyes hurt. Yeah, things are blurry when it's out of focus but the blur effect on the background is overdone. Tone it down a bit. The text style isn't working for me. I don't know a lot of fonts but the text could use a different font. It would be better if the text was a different font, and is just white, with the the same outglow effect you used. You don't have to change the text, but just tone down the blurriness a little. Other than that, great work.

I really like the background, though it does have a sort of "moving car" feel to it, and she's clearly not moving. The font does need some work - too cutesy poo for the bg, osaka and azumanga really.

I agree that the blur should be toned down a bit. I like the text. I think it's cute and suits Azumanga Daioh just fine. However, I don't really like the purple. It doesn't seem to suit the picture. I don't know why. Maybe it'd be better if you cut the outer glow and just left the stroke. Nice one, overall!

The bg and the picture don't really fit but it's my first time seeing this picture of my favorite Azumanga character , so I'll makee "fav" ;)

i like the picture of osaka, i would just make a different background cause i don't really think it really matches with osaka. and the font with the white glow makes it look kinda dizzying

I liked the blur in the background, just need the character toned down alittle.

I'm not a fan of mixing real life photos with animation. Maybe...if you manipulated and messed with the background image...y'know, experiment a bit, you could have ended with a better product. Nice Osaka though...

The blur is a little too strong when using higher resolutions. Also the background does not match the character personality. Regardless, this pictures on a technical aspect are done well, crisp and smooth.

I always loved Osaka, I act so much like her at times...She looks so cute! I really like how you did the background. It kind of reflects Osaka in herself, that the world behind her is going too fast for her to see clearly...but maybe I'm looking into it too much...

Haha very cute picture of Osaka I like that alot but the backgound doesn't quite fit with the picture because of the lighter shading on the charater than the backgound... But it's still a really nice backgound!!

cool paper. it gives a feel for osaka's mentality that she is technically there in body but not allways <shall i say> in the room. lil less blur. cool trace too.

The blurriness fits Osaka so well, and then to have her just standing their Osaka style...so cute.

it's a great picture of osaka she looks very clean and she fits in well with the background.. however.. the background is way to blurred it makes me dizzy looking at it for some reason it unfocuses my eyes..

I think the pic goes well with the background. A cold night in the city and Osaka is rosy cheeked eating a hot snack, perfect. But yeah a little too much blur, that's my only complaint though. Great wallpaper

Yeah thats a really nice wallpaper, because its nice and dark, i like those ones, but its really blurry and if i kept looking at that it would hurt my eyes

i like and dislike the background. You can clearly tell that's the city at night and that she's out having a night on the town while having a snack (which is a cool concept) but it's a bit too blurry though...if you could find like a not-so-blurry pic that'd be great. Overall, it ain't bad! ^^

I love Azumanga, I'm glad to see someone do a pic of it. I like the sense of movement and the colors. Osaka was a great choice for this pic as she was one of the best characters in the show.

Im really sorry but he background is WAY to blurry it make me confused, but I must say the brightness and color of the character is good. just tone down the tint on her.:D :)

Woaa!!! Kawaii, deshou!!! Honto ni, kawaiiii!!!! I love Osaka!!! The picture of her is super kawaii and the town in the background gives it this really nice tone and atmosphere...it feels dark, which makes Osaka's bright and cheerful look become a little deeper and more "beautiful" and less...sugary? Anyway, I love it!

This is a pretty nice wallpaper, in my opinion. The spaced out blurry background represents Osaka's staring out delusion, and I think it works fairly well.

The background is really blurry, and the realism of it kind of clashes with the cel shading. A nice Photoshop effect is the Cutout filter, which makes things look cel shaded. You might try that. And also, instead of purple text, I think pink would match better since she's wearing pink. I'm a little bothered by the fact that she's cut off, was that all there was to the image? If not, maybe move her over some and put the text on two lines to fit it all.

Go Osaka. The blur is a bit much though and I think you should have transformed the background into a sketched version.

Hrm, Not really feeling this one. The radial blur applied to the bg gives a velocity kinda feel to it, Which doesn't quite flow with Osaka's stand-still pose. Hrm, The outter glow on the text also seem to be abit of a downer. >__< Oh and - Stroke on texts - The roots of all evil~

But i very fond of the colours. ^__^

It has good quality but he is not very showy. The only thing that I see is a girl who this eating happily in the city of Tokyo. The series does not give for better ideas but they could do something better.

I love the picture you used but the background is too blurry. It feels like there is nothing to focus on, in terms of background, making it feel too plain. I also don't like how the text is. It's too big and intrusive to the wallpaper, just staring in your face. It's definitely a nice wallpaper though, good job!

No me gusto la fuente que usaste y la monita no parece estar en ese escenario, también el escenario necesita algo más de calidad..

Pero el fondo tiene un zoom sencillo y visto pero hasta eso se ve bien..

The background make a strange effect because is too blurry, but make Osaka's figure the principal element on the wall. The text is too simple but, in the group, the wall is cute. And Osaka is too kawaii eating a tokoyaki *Loves tokoyaki* !

Osaka is like epic! She's totally amazing, and I could rant for hours about her, but I won't because that'd ****people off.

I am in agreement with what other have already said in regards to the blurry background taking away from the effect of the wallpaper. What would have made more sense in my mind with that background is maybe having it shot from the interior of Yukari's car when they are going on the summer trips. Although, I don't remember them ever going at night.

Or what you could do is have the background shot used with Yukari and Nyamo's drinking escapades. I think it would make more sense since they are always hammered and talking about their failed love lives anytime they go out together.
