Even though I hate Setsuna,you did a really nice wall with him,I will gladly use one day...I love the painted bg,and a blue-to-orange gradient...The color changes you did to Setsuna are also nice and fitting the overall mood of the wall... I do think you should make the sand dropping from his hand a bit stronger like it is on the original scan...

Overall,nice wall,and you get a fav from me..

Turning down the texturing in some areas (his cape) and maybe making them a finer grain would have been better. But definitely a refreshing site in the gallery...

I actually adore this fresh wallpaper, even though it is so different than the usual revised scan/wallpaper that I'm used to seeing (and believe me this is a very, very good thing). First, I must applaud you for breathing some life into this and especially where the colors are concerned. There is such an elegant temperament to the wallpaper, and everything from the sky, to the sand, right down to the texture on Setsuna's cape brings such a noticeable balance of compliments. Every aspect in this wallpaper helps to emphasize the good qualities. I enjoyed your craftsmanship and the display of beautiful colors. Thank you for sharing your work!

This deserves more love, so I'll reiterate what I told you on MT. I've always wanted to see a wallpaper with this scan, but I had no idea how to approach it and I'm so glad you got a hold of it! You've made me a very happy person by adding the texture to his cloak, and it works very nicely against the texture of the sand dunes that you painted in the background. And I don't think you could really see the textures if you turned them down, so I'll disagree with those advising you to do so o_o The stars were well placed so that you can't tell if any brushes were repeated or not (always a plus!), and the visibility of the sand flowing out from his hand in to the air was executed perfectly. I think if you had deepened the gradation of the shadows in the vector it would have increased the richness and depth of the entire piece, but you stayed true to the vector and didn't skimp on any details so it's still very nice. And you even thought of us widescreeners! This is definitely a favorite of mine <3

I think is pretty amazing what you did with the bg. The sky looks really awesome, so does the setting sun, the desert too. This is just one of those wallpapers where you think that the character actually belongs there..dunno..it's the mood it's sending I guess.
