After doing my disappearing act in AP for almost half a year, I'm back walling again :) But, i dunno how long i'll be here this time... hope i'm motivated to wall now after i'm free from tons of assignments and thesis XD

Ok, i've been thinking of making a Hagu wall for months after seeing this scan online. I can't recall if i got it from an online scan gallery or my friend saved it for me when she's browsing for manga online (thanks for the scan, anyway...). I decided to make this wall as I want to try my hands on vectoring again since my vector need to be imporved.

I've been spending for about 2 weeks colouring and vectoring Hagu...since the scan is in black and white and I need to paint everything by matching the colours myself. Then, for the bg, it took me a day to settle it. For the bg, I was inspired by a simple design i came across online. Thus, i'm trying the style for the bg of this wall by vectoring, painting and brushing...plus texture...just like the usual thing i've been doing :)

Well...here it is...my first wall after months of not using Photoshop and Illustrator :) Hope it looks ok... >.< Comments are welcome as usual... and hope you'll like it XD

p/s: I've removed the wordings...maybe it looks better without it...lol...thanks for poiting out :)

It's cute and pastel LOL. Just not too crazy about all the sentence being cursive. Otherwise I'm having flashbacks of my childhood toys right now...

There are a lot of jagged edges around your character, it's very noticable. Nice background, you could have done with some text to break it up on the right, no big deal I guess. Good effort.
