gonna be honest, i think some of the airbrushing you did makes the picture look kind of dirty and unneat and doesnt add much to the lighting effects, which is what you usually use airbrushing/gradients for. but on the other hand i do think your gray tints are nice :3

Hmm I like this... reminds me of watercolors. But so many of the lines don't meet, and there's a couple of terribly annoying tan lines running across her head... The planning and colors are all wonderful, but it could use some cleaning up.

Oh, Yukari with blue eyes, what a pretty a sight. I like how you vectored the scan, but I agree with vitaamin-san that the airbrushihg looking a bit a weird here and there, nevertheless it's still a pretty charming wall~

I really like the colors you used.

And the motive is cool. I like these kind of walls. But I wouldnt have done the ehm..stripes in the background. You know what I mean? The grey-white stripes. Wonder what it would look like without them.

Looks a lot like that air gear wallpaper recently! Great take on that for touhou! Love the detail and the color palette, great blue eye, very vibrant. I love the washed out colors, looks really good for a desktop with icons! Your best work yet! XD

I hardly recognized that character from Touhou, but the the wall itself is very nice. Have the feeling that it could be become sharper, but I like the greyscale design itself pretty nice. Touhou needs more love! +Fav

I don't really care for the...glossy, blurred? look on it. I like the mutiple shades on her, but it just seems too blurred for me. Nice eye color choice, I would've liked more colors in since it looks plain like that but it's still a nice job well done ^^

I like it for it's simplicity.. Actually this is one of the best grayscae-ish wallpaper I've seen. I love it!

I wanted to make a wallpaper with this image before, but I gave up because I couldn't get the colours to look right ^_^ The semi-monochrome idea is great, and her eye looks nice too :D

All in all, a gorgeous wallpaper with an awesome colour scheme =) Although there might be some flaws here and there, I still love it < 3

I like the shade of gray and blue very much. :) I do think that some of the vectoring appears kinda messy since there are several parts where the colors leak. Also other parts either use blending modes or opacities, so when layered on top of one another, you can see the other vector shape below it. I try to avoid that in my stuff as much as possible. I don't know about the bg/text stuff, but as a grayscale wall I think you've done a good job. :)

Anyway, back to the comment, I think it's a good wallpaper. I like the dominance of her eye color and I like the use of gray/blue you've used too which is a nice change from the red-dominant scan. Other than that, my only negatives are I think the character could look a bit sharper and the typography on the left-hand side could have been a bit sleeker.

But that aside, it's a good wallpaper. Keep 'em coming, Cat. =)

I like the gray tones. It's not as evil as the original scan. The blue eye is a nice touch and matches with the gray tone. The face, to me, looks a bit rounder than the scan. Maybe that might contribute to the lack of evilness.

The vector is so nice but the text... FAIL. Anyway nice wallpaper.
