Great job done overall, I like the messy and abstract "paint" on the right hand side just beside rei. Though it doesn't really fit to my likings(I prefer something clear rather than a little bit yellowish), it is a good wall. Impressive. You really did gives this wall a feeling that it's being painted instead of coloured in photoshop ^^ Improvements should be made in um, the wings, or rather you may just erase it, it doesnt really suit the wall. Nevertheless, nice wall, good job on the background, and yeah, a little canvas texture may help~ Keep on the good work!

I really like this one. The colors are fabulous, and the mix of sharp detail and soft smears is stunning. And there's no text to detract from the image! My only suggestion is to clean up the outline of the girl's hair a little. It's kind of awkward the way it is now -- some parts of the outline showing more than others. Overall, awesome job!

The wing doesn't seem to fit. The composition is okay, but overall, it's messy. I like some of the added color, but I miss the open blue the original scan had. I have a wall in progress with this scan.. (on my userpage)

Great wall first off I love the color scheme and the style for the most part is superb but I think the bottom right hand corner looks a little too cluttery and kind of draws atention away from the character. other than that beautiful and keep up the good work.

the colour look a little bit strange but somehow it give you a pleasent atmosphere, the cloud also look good but for the wing i think it would better if you say that the wing is a crescent moon in the sky because it doesn't look like wing at all, but still this wallie is really good, great job

The dots on the bottom aren't a burden to me since it just somehow goes well with the whole wall - don't ask me why I think so :/ Also the look Rei has and the fact that she is holding a school bag gives her really quite a human touch! Yay, there are so many great NGE wallpapers recently, that i couldn't decide which to use finally. Interesting color effects. Imo Rei is a little too hidden behind the bordereffect, but it give this picture good dynamics to the left overall, so it's ok.

An Incredible Wallpaper, just awesome but the only thing i dont like is the nose from her.... some kind of " not-there " ^^ so strange, dont know how to explain it. But besides them its a great Wallpaper, good job.

I think the wall is very vellmade. The wing is a good detail, when you first thinks it's a sky, but later on finds out that it's a wing. The colours are fitting well together too. I have really tried to point out something for you to improve, but I couldn't find anything. Well done :3. But remember, I'm an ammature, so there may be many things that could be improved.

Nice work. You had succes in making it look like an painting. (I Rei has that warm feeling to her, that you searched for. But you could have used some warmer colours to make her even "warmer).

I like how you incorporated alot of different textures into this wallpaper. The skin is soft and the background has hard/watery and smudged colors. Very nice job

This is definitely a good one. I can't remember the original art very well but the downside and right part is definitely yours. I am pretty sure the wall ll look better without the wing. the grungey effects are a bit too crowded in there but the thing is they really are not bothering me at all. Yes, this is a very nice wallpaper and I think you have accomplished your goal of giving Rei some warmth. The sky is peaceful and serene, I particularly like the effects you used on it. There is something about the bottom of the image that doesn't exactly sit right with me. I think there is too much happening down there and it draws emphisis away from the character. However, I do like Rei in this piece and she does blend in well with the rest of the image. But yes, great job!

WOW! As I came to animepaper.com, this was the big featured wallpaper, and it pretty much slapped me across the face. Incredible wallpaper! The wallpaper has been blended so well, I'm not entirely sure where the scan begins and ends. It gives it this feeling of complete wholeness, if that makes sense. I also love the colors you used. Not generally something that I would think of, and had I been told the colors used without seeing the wall, I would have just laughed. The moral is, great job, give yourself two pats on the back!

Wow. I love your "smuge" effect! It gives the image a good feel to it. Yes, her expression is...well, none, but because of the coulers you used, it gives the viewer a sence of "warmth".

Your fadeing is great, but at some points I see fadeing, like from her skirt (that's being blown by the wind, down, but at others I see the blur effect becomeing more like a frame, like at the bottom left hand corrner. But either way, I still love it!

It's not often you see a Rei wall that seems warm the way this one does. That sort of thing is usually reserved for other characters. But, it definitely works to great effect here.

Some people don't like the splotches, but they're my favorite part. Especially being a sort of a trail blowing in the wind, adds a whimsical feeling, and Rei could really use some whimsy. Great job on it!

Nice wallpaper that sort of contrasts Rei's personality. I agree with puppychow16 about how the colors remind me of Van Gogh's sunflowers. Another great wallpaper.

I love the colors and the soft, watercolor style. This is one of my favorite wallpapers. It's soft and hopeful, so I think it does give Rei more of a normal schoolgirl feel.

well for me any rei ayanamy wallpapers is great her face (inocent yet concerned) just fits perfectly in any background the way you made it look like a painting is quite good hate to kritecize but reis wing is a little bit to geometric, also i think the purple dots don't match with the painting, still if this is your first time editing a waalpaper, then i'ts very good for first times, congratulations from me (me-noob, i may just not know what i'm talking about).

I can't describe how this wallpaper has captivated me. I agree, the colors are very cool. You were very gentle with this; what I mean is that the colors and lines look seamlessly blended in nicely and it looks like a professional painting. It seems like a lost memory, faded with the passage of time. Rei goes great with that field in the light of a sunny day. Very uplifting and sort of cheerful.

I love the colors in this. I didn't even recognize that as Rei at first, that's how much you changed this and made it your own. You were able to put in such personality and feeling. That takes some skill. Awesome job.

Oh the prettiness, lol. I like the watercolor look you have working here, it's a rare thing these days and looks particularly attractive with Yuji Kobayashi's art style. I especially love all the busyness of the left bottom corner.
