Great job! You finished your first wall, I was waiting for this. :3 It's well made and nice and clean. I like the vintage and texture. The colors look fine to me. Also great work on the painting of his skin. I feel the blue area in the bg above him could use something more - like more patterns or candy, and your sig looks a bit large. Maybe try something that blends in more and/or use a more subtle font, for example. But if you like your sig like this, then that's fine. :) Good job, Beebs, can't wait for more. :D fav for your first well done effort.

Normally I wouldn't go for walls like these but I saw the jellybeans (one of my fave sweets) and so I was moved to tears lol Anyways I gotta say that the vector is very good and I'm all for those crisp paper creases, plus the arrangement of the elements got my mind working (the faded repetition of L&candies especially) just one thing though -- The orange L silhouette is a bit distracting for me.. nothing that can't be over looked though. Congratulations on a great first wall

Wow! This turned out looking way awesome! o: The vintage feel goes well with L. ;) I love the colors~ Also the way those colors bring out L's neutral scheme with the candies and whatnot. The textures go nice as well as the text fits with it all too. The only thing I would suggest is making your signature smaller, maybe? It's a bit big.. And on his eyes, they look a bit off to me for some reason, it may just be the way you colored them, I guess. Sorry. >.<;; But everything else is still really epic~! >w<

First of all, I like it; I think the vintage feel was really successful and this is an appealing wall overall. But there are elements of it that I have crit about, for sure.

• L's hand looks odd: it's way too large (disproportionately so) and shapeless. The source art may be one of those that's a little out of whack in comparison to most of the rest of the official art, or it might be that your vector needs more shading to give the hand more shape and dimensionality (esp around the knuckles and the back of the hand. Either way, his hands usually look a lot more spindly and delicate than this: his fingers are long, thin, and bony.

Other than that, I think the vector is nice! I like how it's colored; in general, I like the colors of this piece.

• I'm not so sure about all the cloning on this one. I can't tell what the italic word that appears four times is (twice front and center, once behind L on the left, and once under the orange silhouette), but it's kind of blocky and distinctive and I would confine its use either to the front-and-center stuff or to the base of the orange silhouette.

It seems out of context here and almost takes over the design. I get the need to fill in space, and I do like the composition of this piece, but that element is kind of large for the way it's repeated, it's hard to read, it's hard to tell what it has to do with the rest of the design, but is too "significant" to work well as filler, IMO. I might have chosen different elements -- ones that were smaller, more purely decorative, and less distracting.

• I don't mind the orange silhouette; it helps balance the design.

Please don't mind my critique -- it's pretty much just about composition. I couldn't have done better than you did.

I really like the parchment look to this. Though I think the jelly beans look a bit strange.

L still ROCKS!!!! I say, DEATH NOTE still ROCKS!!! I still can't believe that they didn't give Near a chance to walk I mean, can Near even walk? Anyway, L is still one the best anime characters I've seen.
