Wallpaper featuring some of the Haruhi cast I went for an abstract feel took about 1.5 hours to clean the scan about 3 hours for the actual wall a large chunk of time was taken up trying different brushes since I don't have much experience with them At first I thought using the default maple leaves brush was lame but then it looked OK so I kept it '-' made in widescreen (1920x1200) and personally I think it looks best that way

The extraction on the characters needs some serious work, the edges are pretty jagged.

Wow, it's a nice wall. I don't recognize half of the characters, so it makes it feel a bit weird but overall I like it. Fav+

Anti-Aliasing is used to remove jagged edges, not create them. While I do understand that using something that is stark white on a black background that extraction is hard to pull off, it is doable.

Just saying it needs work is all.

actually i meant the antialiasing failed xD I'll have to retrace the whole scan since the original was already like that will do it when I have a few spare hours

Pretty simple effects but they look cool, fitting the theme of the wallpaper in general. Though... the brushes over the scan blend a bit weird. Nice text, too.

not bad... just some part of the wall is a bit too dark, causes some of the characters being hide away. giving the idea that all the action in colors starts from the shadows where she lies... ok, maybe I am pushing too far here :P The wall is brilliantly executed - especially the choice of which part of the scan you used. I personally never would have looked at that scan and thought that a wall featuring just the legs would turn out so well.
