Eh, I didn't care much for Appleseed.

Really love the background you created for this, though I don't care much for the birds. They seem blurry and out-of-place.

I think the birds are a nice addition, though they do look perhaps a bit too blurry. Other than that, I love the blending job in this, the colors and the overall mood of the wall.

And yes, blending definitely needs more love! XD

Wow.. first I thought you've got the 1080p edition of Appleseed and did a screen capture + some work + REALLY AWESOME text on it. But then I saw the scans you used and I must really say: I really thought that the fore- and background initially belonged together... and now I was proofed wrong.

Great wallpaper and Appleseed really deserves more walls ... maybe it's because some people suppose doing an APLS wall is easy due to high source graphics ... but I think it's not that easy :).

I loved both cg appleseed movies and I really have to say you kept their style in that wall! All the sparks and and stuff look amazing. Also everything matches perfectly and looks very smooth, nothing outstanding in a any bad way, I find that really impressive! This is a fav for sure.

To me the birds fit, since you were going for a John Woo vibe. I love everything about it and think you did a fab job. Fav.

haha nice, the typography is nice, and well blending is nicely done nothing seems out of place.

something about the feet and legs that bugs me though (it seems to flatten out becauseo of the weird inner glow effect happening there)

Nice blending. I do also agree with the white pigeons been out of place. This is how I see it: firing, sparkles, battle, falling, “underground”, night, and then… white pigeons… hmm. John Woo style or not, it just looks odd…that’s all…

I agree with the comments about the blurry nature of the birds, but after that I like the way that you have blended the elements and brought everything together. I especially like the way that you added the light source above and carried it down to the action below. That is nicely done.

Wow, very nicely put together. I actually really like this type of walling style too, so great job for making a fine example for other newer wallers to see. :) The birds seem out of place to me since it looks like the characters are inside a decrepit building or underground...a place where I would think it'd be hard for birds to go, but in a design sense, they fill that part of the wall well. I also like your typography and colors used too.

Quick little note: The body armor on the main focuses is too smooth, making it look plastic and less attractive if it was more like metal.

Maybe this scan can convey what I'm trying to say better. More shading here and there would make this wall look better.

It is well done just a bit disturbing...You put yourself out there though, which is a good thing because this is definitely taking risks and being away from the norm. :) I love how the colors blow up in your face, shaking all your senses.

Doesn't quite match my resolution, but it works well enough. I've got to say....I love this wall!

I love dark walls. Perspective is nice and the poses really give you a sense of adventure and excitement. Text works beautifully, the background seems as if it's shattering/everything is crumbling beside them.

I really dig this, hard for me to point out any flaws that are obvious. Good job, keep it up. :)

Great! Could've been even better without the John Woo doves though as they clash a bit with the rest of the image IMHO.

I think the birds don't really fit into the wall. They stick out a little too much. I see them working, but only if they had more detail and weren't as blurry. Otherwise, I like everything else - I like the sharpness of the 'sparks', and the text works nicely. Good job!

The birds definitely don't fit in this picture which is already mentioned by some users already. Also the light on top of the wallpaper is a bit awkward. Looking at the lighting and shadows on Dunan and Barieros (i know the spelling of his name isn't correct with that difficult name of his) i have to say the light bulb isn't at the right spot.

Great color-combination, sharp contrast makes it very attractive. Keep up the good work \m/
