I think her face should be lighter, and why are the whites of her eyes red? It looks really strange. ;-; I also think the background doesn't have bright enough colors to compliment the girl to her full extent. Your hair extensions are pretty well done, though, no complaints there. :X

so upon fullview, i think i understand your concept better and where your vision for this wall lies. i think though that her/his face is too red for comfort whilst her chest is almost in high exposure mode. also i like the painting on the face, it is integrated seamlessly with the vector style of the hair and glasses, but the painting on her chest seems in a different format

as for the bg, i like that its going in a grunge/techno direction. however, i feel that some lighter whites or defining some shine or having different "dirty colors"(i.e desaturated greens or teals) would add to the feeling i get from it.

Redjuice (from redjuicegraphics) is the artist, so the wallpaper is in the correct category. We know it’s from Bakemonogatari , but in this case the artist who made it gets priority.

I’d say that overall you did fine. Some suggestions…

The concrete wall in the BG could’ve been a bit more interesting as far design goes (cracks, dirt, graffiti, etc etc). That graffiti you got there with you name would’ve look better if it was incorporated into the wall itself. Make it part of the BG. Also, I’d have the wall a bit less blurry…

Lighting around the character (in the whole scene for mater fact) could’ve been a bit more dramatic and less even. Her shadow on the wall could use more darkening.

Seeing that she is a vampire (500 years old and counting), it would’ve been interesting if things were more “gruesome” as far concept goes. Anyways, your concept still works perfectly… just saying it would have been interesting to see a darker approach for it, that’s all.

As a final note, kudos on your painting. Keep it up and I’m sure you’ll be painting better in no time.

Very well designed, a little too dirty for my taste, whether the context is that or not, it's a little too full on for a background when you have family around! It's very cool, I love the typography, awesome founded fonts with square edges, great pick!
