Hi guys ^^

Here is an other wallpaper from me...This time it is an old wallpaper project of the beautiful Ghibli Movie "The Cat Returns" also a collab between dream3er (minitokyo.net) and me. Thank you girl you did a great job. History of this wall is that I bought me the Manga (english) and saw this nice image on one the last pages.

I vectored the outlines an painted with my new tablet. It's rally great to paint with a tablet. ^^ After that I was thought about how to make the backround. And so I decided to ask dream3er for helping me with the backround, because I was always a fan of her Wallpaper Style.

Here is that dream3er did.

1- i added a light in the middle . 2- i blurred the sharp edges in the characters. 3- i added some black shadows in their heads/bodies and so on ...and then i added some white lights in the top part of their heads --> like where the lights is coming from .. if u know what i mean ^^" . 4- i copied and paste the bg again with "lighting mode" --> like multiply , hard light ..etc . 5- i used some filter effects for the bg like the "distort" filter ^^. 6- like always i changed the colors!

I know in this times this kind of Wallpapers isn't very popular, but I hope you enjoy it. ^_^ Coments and Favis would be nice.

i like it =) it sorta gives off an old, dusty, antique-ish look. And i thought looks like these were popular nowadays? O_o Like for example CarloRino's latest booklet, just about everything looked like it was from between the 60s to the 80s...^^

This is a really unique looking wallpaper :D I like how even the characters have a photo-realistic quality about them with the subtle blurs in areas. It's really surreal looking... I couldn't really tell from the thumbnail what was going on, or really who was in it ^^;

The only qualm I have is the background quality of the photo, it's a bit low and compressed in places that doesn't quite fit.
