This wallpaper is nice - although I don't like it when people "vector" stuff instead of simply working on and around a semi-high-resolution scan (the scans size was good enough for this wallpaper). I think vectoring is only good if you have a bad source for some image and want to improve it. Well you did add shadows and shadings to the vector - hence you didn't really lose anything in terms of source quality. Therefore I think it really turned out well and the spare use of color really does mark this wallpaper :).

i can see the difference in the thumbnail, but the full version wont update, but it looks better :D

@divStar: yes the original scan was pretty high quality, but the lines were a bit blurry and working with it from the original size would probably not have looked very good since the scan was just about as big as the wall size.

ok so i'm finally on AP and commenting. still very depressed right now about my photoshop click-and-crash situation and how i will now very likely not make it in time for anna's bday. 8*( maybe it's because there are too many layers (i'm pretty sure i've set a record for myself lol)...but then i don't dare test that theory on another psd with lots of layers. SIGH *huddles in my corner* thanks again for putting up with my moping and my dampening your mood. :3

now ON TOPIC. you know from a while back that i like this. it's hard to get it wrong when you add an experienced vector-waller and his classic grayscale plus red palette. and ribbons. and wings. (love those wings!) i feel like for such overhead lighting, the undersides of her legs should be shaded more strongly. but it's a pretty present. hopefully mine will eventually turn out prettily too. >__<

Good transition to the monochrome + red color scheme. Great scan choice as well, but not 100% feeling the cropping needed to fit it into the wallpaper, esp. b/c I don't really see any "action" in the wallpaper.

In regards to the lightning, I would love to see the "darker" version. I feel like it would feel the color scheme and mood better, but maybe that version also lacks some of the wonderful things I see in this wall.

Well I like the color combo...yet you may have added too much lighting. A little too bright for my taste.

The quality of the vector is magnificent, and I haven't really seen too many for ages.

Overall, the wallpaper is excellent. Yet, there's something wrong with this wallpaper compared to the original scan that I can't quite put my finger on.

Eh, oh well. Doesn't matter. It's still a nice wallpaper.

Ah, the typical wallpaper style ^^ I love looking at your wallpapers cause that somehow monochrome style with parts of colors is amazing. It's always a pleasure to view your wallpapers in full view and the details are just coming forward by looking on it in full.

The vectoring is flawless like always and I admire you for that ^^ I still like your "Personal Jesus" wallpaper the most but this one is right ahead. I think it's time to change my desktop at home ^^ Ah, such a wonderful work. This wallpaper really shows what can be done by taking the time to create a wallpaper.
