Copy paste from MT XD

My first Kunie Kanbara wall! After hours of suffering, I'm really proud of how it turned out, although I know it's not perfect. First off, I vectored the scan which was a real pain in the butt! My friend was really kind enough to help me out with it ^^ I then added some vines here and there, I hope they don't stand out too much =]

I wanted to try something other than coloring the vector then creating a background so I added that flowery pattern as a very faint background and made it show through the lines of the vector. That's maybe why the lines might seem jagged at some parts but I did try to smooth everything out as best as I could without making it too blurry. I made the colors of the flower pattern pop out a bit more. Finally, I thought that Japanese typography would look best so I added some and no, I have no idea what it's saying XD I hope it could be related to the wall somehow.

Hopefully, my vectoring skills will improve since I rarely do it XD

Beautiful colors! I love the simplicity! Great washed out colors. It feels very japanese! Great texture in the flower silhouette!

The original scan is nice also, but with these method that you made the lines of the vector transparent, your wallpaper became even more beautiful. The colours that you used are very fine, I like these pastel shades. It's a great wallpaper!

I really enjoy the japanese print feel this has,and the pattern in the outlines and the text..I would like to see the translation of the text though,just for fun >3 +fave

I'm all for beauty by simplicity and I love Japanese art and culture. So naturally this wallpaper really stands out to me. I love the old paper effect you gave it and the washed out look helps to give it them effect of an old painting. The lines don't look jagged to me at all. In fact they are quite smooth.

The Japanese typography is an excellent tough too. I'm tempted to try and find out what it means ... but I'm also afraid it would ruin the wallpaper. So I'll pass. Thank you for sharing this with us. ^-^
