Hi this is my second wallpaper, and I selected for subject Rei Ayanami. Not becouse she's my favourite character, Asuka is my Eva's love :-P, but I found this image that is on my opinion meaningful, so I decide to build around it a tipograph impostation similar to a postcard or a mail, and the stamp obviously is the NERV logo. There is not great effect in Photoshop, I used a filter to create from a picture of Rei/Lilith the pattern for the bottom and I refined it by hand (virtual :-D), and with the NERV's trace I taked a portion of a brushstroke to rend the stamp's effect. The text is an extract from the Rei's soliloquy in episode 14, very significant for me to comprend her being and her interior conflict, and I wanted to rend it as same Rei have been write on wall. I apologize for put it in italian, but I didn't sure of the translate so I prefare to leave it how I know. Somehow I think I would represent Rei's fragments and her elusive and deep figure. I hope come near to attain that and hope also you like this wallpaper more than the first one. Bye

Wow!First to comment! (n_n)/ It's nice wall, I like it, it's made with taste!It is nice that it looks like sketch.And I like the effect of fade and shabby of the background.I don't understand why others don't pay attention to this wall (o_o) + good luck .(n_n).

wow this is an automatic favorite! although i haven't had the time to watch the anime (i know i know im missing out) i realli like rei ayanami. this wallpaper was well made and i really like her image in this paper. The art is amazing and the style of the picture is very eye catching 8)E As for the background u did a great job balancing rei and it together. very nice overall!!

Looks amazingly good. I prefer walls like this that are rendered differently to the usual art style of the show. The Italian isn't bad, it gives the wallpaper a sense of mystery. Good idea there.

Striking and bold The colour scheme is beautifully basic; I like the mingling of white, red and black. I like the creativity of the postcard concept, but think that a version without the text might be more effective. The reason for this is that the background text could conflict with the text in the names of folders on the desktop and look cluttered. However, if you wanted to have Rei's poem up there so that Italian EVA fans can contemplate it, then I think this could work well. All in all, a fine job. :)

This picture is mostly white, it feel like "ground of groundwork". That's why I like it. It is good simple wallpaper( but I don't know you whether made this easy or not). With text right there, it is really groundwork.

And getting improve as you hope!

Yina-mon, me is so sorry that I missed your wonderful wallpaper for so long :(

I love everything in it. The scenery is so cheerful and lively exactly what I need at the moment. The sky is wonderful done; I really love it. *jumps to AP to fav it to* *nani? AP's not working, will fav later*

Nice work, the sentences remember me the series when i've seen it long ago ;) brought back some memories, and might as well watch NGE again. But if you can, make an english version of the wall for all the other members so they can understand it at well XD Nice job anyway :)
