After viewing the original pictures you used, I can't say anything, it's fantastic and amazing, good job, you really made a nice and extra demonstration of your skills, I like the blending effects you used, nice conception, you make them fit together perfectly with such colors and winter feeling ! After I viewed the stocks you used it stunned me. I've never tried blending stock photos together but I know it's hard to do. Especially when the photos have different saturation and detail level.

Wow, it's rare that you see stock images blend so well with a scan. Everything feels very natural; the picture flows together. I for one am quite impressed.

That's what I've been saying... Stock blending is hard work! (XD) A note though:

• The front end of the bike isn't blending in that well. It seems detached from ground, especially towards the bottom where the wheels are supposed to touch the ground. I think the major shadowing at the front of the wheel makes it seem tad off.

• I think the lighting could have been more... Mmm dreamy if you added highlights here and there on the bike and character. The background sets up for that mood. It would also make the piece seem less flat.

• Perspective. I know people complain when they see blurry things, but if you think about a movie camera or your eyes, if you are focused on a person in front of you, anything 2 miles away into the background is a blob. The fact that you can see some of the windows are a perfect square is a tad off. So more blur = more depth, but people complain. XD

Overall, this is the longest I've written in quite a while. Nice job!

dude sorry i never got backt o you--i didnt really have anything to add since this is soooo not my department. apart from maybe agreeing with red-eclipse about the blurring in the back and maybe some more contrast in the lighting since his colors blend so much into the background. but really i cant make anything like this, great job +fav

I agree with anyone who has mentioned that this needs blurring in order to enhanced depth a bit better between the foreground (character) and background (farthest part: mountain, city). A small DOF ( shallow focus ) would have worked perfectly for this, and at the same time, giving the scene a more realistic look and feel.

Blurring sections of an environment according to their locations might seem trivial, but it isn’t. Just like we use motion blur for objects that are in motion, we use blurring for depth enhancement.

Don’t get me wrong, I like it. I like how everything is well composited and that it’s almost perfectly seamless. I like its clean look and the “dreamy” feeling it gives. Good photo/digital manipulation is a hard thing to do, and, in my opinion, you did a fine job with it.

By the way, you forgot to put a slightly crooked “dangerous curves” sign on the road. That’d have been a nice addition to the whole composition… or maybe not…

Anyways, an overall job nicely done…

Sick seamless integration of FF characters into photographs. Can't even imagine how long it took to adjust and compensate for lighting. Good stuff. (XD)

Personally, I think this would be an A wall. Bg match the character pretty well. good job. even though I'm not a big fan for Final fantasy

As always a great job by chibi-sama. This is now one of my favorites. It has such clarity and a grandiose feeling. IT's big, beautiful and it pulls you in. Such seamless rendering and extraction and blending. No you're not as rusty as you think. Each version has a different feel than the other. Plus it is appropriately titled " The Road Not Taken". You really have to hand it to Robert Frost his poems are pretty great.

Really good work on the wall. My first thought was on the text, plain text on your wall would look terrible, but the blur filter with the extra x blur really makes it fit on top. Nice.

Holy mackerel, your ability to turn stocks into anime-ish/CG texture is amazing. I really want to learn how to do that, or at least get tips on how to. As you can see, my walls represent true failure of that :P

D8 and sorry for not giving you a second round of feedback the other day (or more like the other super early morning). i feel bad about it but...uh, i think it might have been for the better. was in my friends' room, having fun, ordering takeout (the upside to uni: nobody but the security guard looks at you weird for getting food delivered at 3 am!). not exactly the clearest state of mind to be giving out wall comments. xD;;

you know you did a good job. stock blending isn't easy. there are still a few minor things but no biggie because on the whole it's a lovely piece of work. so +fav it is. :] *thumbs up*

This totally looks like it could be a screenshot, or something of the like. Oddly enough it reminds me of Cloud racing along on his bike at the end of AC. Only instead of spring it's wintery! I absolutely love it. I'd definitely use this. (And I usually only end up using 1% of the wallpapers I like)

I like the wallpaper but Snow was the most annoying character in that whole game.

I was so tired of hearing his voice cause he couldn't shut up.

But other then that the wallpaper is okay even though it doesn't represent the time period in the game.

The images fit together seamlessly in my opinion. And am I the only one who finds it funny this is a snow scape, considering his name? (Or am I being nerdy again?) By the by, I like the lighting on him, it seems realistic to the light you would get on a bright winter day.

Excellent work! I really loved the way you used many objects and scenarios from different images to create an original new wallpaper. It really deserves the rating it holds. It was pretty awesome to see the background transform into a CG image altogether.The adding of the character was just the icing of the cake,hehe. I also liked the colours and the contrast between the road and the snowy fog that was on top. The image is not too colourful, which makes it an even better wallpaper. In conclusion, I loved this wall and give you a thumbs up for the awesomeness =D
