I do think I love the sunset version more as well :D Also, when submitting the wallpaper, you need only submit the largest version of the ratio aspect (so 16:10 = 2560 x 1600, 4:3 = 1600 x 1200, etc). If you submit two with the same ratio aspect, then you get what\'s happening on your wallpaper, with only the 1680 x 1050 showing up instead of the biggest one even though 2560 x 1600 is listed. If you edit it, it\'ll be fixed :3 Anyway, highlight party hats on \o/

i should give a comment that is more thoughtful than that face above but i'm really distracted right now and about to go to sleep SO i will +fav for now because i am very biased in favor of your vectoring style. will definitely come back later to give you my proper two cents.

...and two days later. well, uh, i hope you notice this. o_o lol you have managed a gorgeous character vector. nobody can really argue that. you have a vector style which i like, especially for her facial skin here. (vectoring skin for me has always been a matter of moderate to great contempt because i just suck when it comes to skin.) there are admittedly a few things here and there (mainly with the hair and highlights/shading) that bug me but it's well done.

when it comes to colors and the background, here is where i really feel like the sunset version should have been the one submitted. those colors brings everything together and gives the wall more life. versions aside, i also feel like the main shadows cast by the objects and by the girl could have been more convincing. BUT. this is, at the end of the day, a pretty piece.

Good choice in selecting that image to make a wallpaper out of. Adding gradients really improved upon the original illustration.

gray.. in the bg >__>her nose is a bit weirdly shaped IMO but maybe it was like that in the scan and while this isnt your most intricate vector, i'm liking that you kept the color scheme style--i always found it a very western inspired anime style.

Damn, that is some nice vectoring I tell you. And I mean that.

but I personally think this isn't enough to warrant a highlight. (No offense to nat) The amount of work gone into it clearly shows, but vectoring a scan alone hardly scores any originality points. Instead of expanding the scan and vectoring over it, I feel something even better could've resulted from it. Someone pointed out before me, the original version lacks constrast and has an unfinished quality to it. I think you should've submitted the sunset version instead. Something else bothering me are the background objects. The vectoring spent on senjougahara is phenomenal, but the scissors, protractors, etc look really flat upon closer inspection. As a result it gives off a really "plastic-y" look to them. I think you could have added some textures to make them feel more natural and" dynamic". These are merely nitpicks/suggestions I think would give this wall more oomph to it.

Again, I really like this wall ALOT and I hope you continue to pump out amazing stuff.|(n_n)|

i got the pic from the official website of this anime, and set it as wallpaper for like a whole month now...maybe i got used to seeing it a little blurry on my desktop, so when i put this one to replace that, i don't feel like it looks as good, lol. like everything looks so clear and brighter now , and that makes it seem weird in a way.

I think the hard work for a month finally shows his fruit. Is a great honor for us organizators of VectaDesu that one of our participant vectors became highlighted as wall. Wow, already a featured. I'll say it deserves just that. The artwork is very clean, crisp, and blends well. The concept is interesting as well. I have never watched the anime so I have to assume architecture is this girls idea of relaxation? lol. I have to say it actually is mine, I'll go build with Legos to relax.

I have NEVER seen such professional shading and lighting on a character before. The scan and the final result have such noticeable differences to them that it's unreal. Everything has been cleaned up very nicely. From the Shading on her body, to the shine of her hair, lips and eyes. Heck even the colors used and texture are 10/10 in my book. Her skin just glows this radiance and it's very lovely. I hate bright colors and I am very glad you didn't set any.

All I can really say is Wow, simply amazing skills you have right there. This is a favorite for sure...

So you turned an ALREADY GOOD wallpaper into an EVEN BETTER wallpaper. That reminds me of when Blizzard upped the 1.08 Buriza, an overpowered weapon, to the 1.09 Buriza (which was already good.)

What was I implying? You went beyond what's needed. Hopefully your fellow wallers take notes on your actions :)

P.S. I'm pretty sure there's going to be some person who's going to say that there was a better ranged weapon than the Buriza. Please, don't refer items like QUARKS (which was a hacked item, mind you -- golf clap to the people who hacked the closed realms) or some Cruel "XXXXX" of Quickness (you know, the one with the DMG/CRIT/SPEED modifiers -- most were duped; they also weren't that great for PvP if my memory's right).

P.S.S. Obviously I'm referring to 1.09, and not the above patches (yes, I've had one person NOT READ my whole post before he/she started some argument).

simply beautiful in every respect! *___* the vector used in this wallpaper is very well done, not to mention that this "air" of the adult senjougahara won it was pretty cool the effects of light extends from the lower left corner was good, with a more reddish color. It was quite a different idea, which avoids that standard that many use to always be white (not that they are bad, quite the opposite =P). many of the items stuck in the ground also found it very nice, which leaves them only scattered, but fishwife a little more in this regard. color choice at all in the scenario (as the main character does not even need to comment because she is wearing the school uniform as always or almost always ... = X) was very good, giving a very nice contrast with all especially with the character, the biggest attraction of the paper bakemonogatari was the best anime of the season, for sure (so that the DVDs / BDs are selling like water in Japan = PP) and deserves a sequel, and that little further as he won gaining extra. An anime that, despite all those records (which makes the anime very annoying at times) is an anime that has a little way to think about the unfolding of a story as well as Katanagatari and their different design, that although the design is an anime that makes up for the story, and must make a success equal or even superior to Bakemonogatari

Positively amazing. Honestly, there's not much what can be said about this paper as far as criticism goes-if there are any flaws that you don't already know about, perceived or not (damn perfectionists) they the probably don't exist in the first place. About the only thing I can say is that the shadowing just looks a tad bit off in places, but it's so slight that it doesn'y detract at all from the paper.

This is so gorgeous. I love the way the background looks, with the tatami and the various objects stabbed into it. It's so detailed and at the same time, it doesn't distract from the foreground at all, because it's not as saturated as the character herself. The light on the hair is also a really nice touch and draws focus to the face. Definitely a must-have wall paper. :) Thanks for sharing!
