Because I've never read the manga, this wall is a little weird. The overall wall is fairly well constructed and blends well. The only thing I would note is the shirt and the shirt's texture, it's kinda flat looking compared to the rest of the wall. Otherwise nice job, and yeah, color vectors are gonna get you further than b&w. Takes a lot of work and imagination to make a suitable b&w wall.

I don't like the pink shirt because I think it dismatches with the orange stripe in the background, but overall it's an awesome wall.

The thing I think you need to practice a bit more on is cropping pictures or resizing! :)

Hilarious! I just got into this series since the anime started, and I really love to watch the interactions between these two. :D I don't know if it's just me, but Oga's hand looks a little weird. But other than that, I like your whole color scheme and nice vectoring! Good job :)
