Full view, please.
So, a nice, simple, user-friendly wallpaper with plenty of space for icons. I really love the artwork for Bizenghast even though I'm not usually a fan of western manga. The artwork is incredible and dark [and I'm kicking myself I didn't come up with something from the series for Halloween], but beautiful and intricate as well. Also, there was some confusion over Dinah's skin tone. Her face and arm are the same color; however most of her arm is concealed by a glove which is a different shade.
The text in the wall is from a poem entitled "The Rose" that was published in a student anthology that also contained my first publication in 2003. Currently my copy of the anthology is in storage and so I am unable to quote the rest of the poem or name the author. The general story of the poem is that the speaker is a young woman who is bitter and feels unworthy of love, and pities any man who falls in love with her.
The original scan is here in the gallery. The textures used came from stockxchange, and the font, Windsong, came from Dafont.com. That looks great. Although maybe the text should be a bit brighter or have some effect to make it stand out more? Just my 2 cents. Still, nice job.

daw; talk about me being late >.< glad to see this in the gallery~quite nice to see that massive space for the icons too :D haha. finally a wall that dosent need any desktop cleaning. good luck on all ur other projects :D

I'm so glad your wallpaper was accepted! Congratulations. It's so much better now: simple but effective :3 And the font you chose is really suitable for the concept you show.
