After a long time of vectoring for VDesu's and this wall, it is finally finished! It took me only over 1,5 month on and off working on it.
I noticed a somewhat weird yet still eye-catching scan when I was reading some reviews at Pireze. I just happen to have watched the anime Cencoroll before, which made me look into this review. One of the scans from this book was the one I chose for the wallpaper -->
Since this scan wasn't really that clear I decided on completely vectoring it and since the SVG format is gaining popularity I decided on doing it all in Illustrator. Never worked with Illustrator before so it was quite a challenge to figure out how to work with it, but it wasn't as hard as I had aspected. Anyway I fixed some of the lines and colors that appeared weird to me and have gotten rid of that horrible fold in the middle. I also vectored "Cencoroll" text and I was planning to put my name as characters on the building, but that was looking horrible so I kept the one in the scan. This wall took so long because of the uncountable many shapes which made me tire quickly and forcing me to take many breaks xD, but I have finally finished it.
Of course it is in the 2560 format again, but unfortunatly no 2048 version. I tried to make it fit, but it will cut too much of Cenco away or from the guy.

Nice wallpaper ^^ I like the city view, did you vectored it too ? Really nice !!!!! I only preferred that you add some color saturation for it, just some stronger colors... Anyway, nice wallpaper, I like it ^^

Amazing vector =P, very good for first attempt with illustrator! The thing I like most in this wall is the background, it's not very easy imo to make a vectored background look very good, but you managed^^, those buildings must have been a pain in the a**... Anyways, hope to see more awesomeness of you in the future! Keep it up man + fav

A really nice wallpaper. The background must have taken a while to do. Good job on this one ^^ The girls eyes are really expressive. I like them ^^ Some parts of the background have strange perspective or alignment though. But well, it doesn't stand out too much so it's no biggies ^^ +fav

Woot! a cencoroll wallie! Nice job vectoring that scan, too bad ya didn't vector the left part as well but love the focus on those three. Great job also on the buildings. Overall i love it! so +fav! ^^,
