Merry Christmas!! This wallpaper was made as a gift to Amy of Ishiwong for a Secret Santa event I participated in. So, in truth, although being posted third, was actually the first of the Vongola Guardian wallpaper set.

This wallpaper, unlike the others, consists of TYL Mukuro from the manga (rather than the anime). I fell in love with this image of Mukuro and just had to make something. xD However, I didn't want to use Byakuran (sorry, he's just not really a character I care for LOL).

I went for an indigo color scheme, as that's the color of the Mist Ring and a misty atmosphere. The original version went through several different changes and I also had to redraw and recolor several areas since Byakuran's outlines were overlapping several pieces of Mukuro. The color scheme shifted several times between blue and purple, then finally settled for something more in the middle (though, I supposed you could just say purple too LOL).

After the redoing several pieces of the original image and laying out the mist (and I swear the smudge tool hates me), I laid some textures over it along with several layers of color to bring out more emphasis in certain areas. Hope you guys enjoy it!

This wallpaper is GREAT. I love how you chose that marbled, misty purple for the background; I've always thought that Mukuro was suited to purple cos whenever I picture him, I see him lounging on a leather armchair with his head propped up on a hand, rather like a prince. I really like how you altered the scan as well; making his skin paler makes him look a lot better (not that he wasn't sexy in the original - saying so would be sacrilege :P).

Soooo hot ♥ I love you,your walls are always awesome...I'm sooo glad there's someone besides me that always make nosebleed-worthy walls xD I love the mist,and the purple to blue gradient on it^^ Too bad the quality of Mukuro isn't so good,but you did your best without vectoring < 33 +favie

I LOVE THIS! I definitely prefer this over the other two; maybe it has something to do with the original being from the manga (or the calendar, but the image was also in Target/Chapter 168 and I remember loving it at first sight) as opposed to the anime. ANYWAY, it's fine that you didn't use Byakuran because it's nice to have the focus just on Mukuro - Ten Years Later at that! I love the mist you added and the colour scheme you used which is very fighting.

I'd love to see you make wallpapers for all the other Guardians too! I hope you're working on that!

I really like this one! I'm really impressed with the painting of Mukuro, such that it blends in with the whole misty look. My only problem is with the low quality of the manga scan, but I guess that's the furthest you can go without vectoring the image. Though I would prefer a vector if you had the time :)

Great work, and surely long and accurate. Quite sad about Byakuran not being someone you care ç_ç (Byakuran lover X°°D) but TYLMukuro deserve more space. (Happy to see more manga wall)
