Merry Christmas; [2009]
This wallpaper was a total speer of the moment. I had seen I had gotten another Christmas greeting on my UP/userpage and it hit me that I hadn't made mine yet. So, for all those I didn't give one too.. Here is the greeting;
But after seeing how cool this turned out. I just had to make myself a wallpaper and ended up making one for everyone.

Now, I know that this scan has been used for other wallpaper and I, myself, had vowed to never use an image that was already used and up in the gallery. But this is an exception because this just turned out totally totally cool!!! And great for those of us who know and are into the real 'Christmas'. Even if those of you out there disagree. This is how I totally see it.
Scripture comes from John 3;16-17 I believe. Might be to 18 but I kinda doubt it but hey I haven't gone to bed yet. So, give me a break if I remember or not. I'll edit later.

Answer to Comment: When I created this wallpaper it is quite obvious I didn't use 'Belldandy' because she was 'Belldandy'. I didn't use her because of her character. In the show she is a 'goddess' believe me I know but if no one knew any better she'd be just another angel floating around. Plus, I knew when I used the scriptures that it wouldn't be well recieved by everyone. I fully understand. I also fully understand if your trying to link the 'show' with my wallpaper it will make no sence at all but even so. Even 'Belldandy' answers to the 'Almight'. So, just to answer a few of your questions within this topic. I do understand and that was not the link I was making.

I loved the card,so I really like the wall too...typography is really nice...but,I think you should have made Beldandy a bit lighter,and added some glitter around her,especially on the wings...I think it would be more angelic that way..also,to make the moon shine upon her,or maybe completely remove it,and make the Earth the main source of light on the wall...

Sorry if I'm coming across as rude here, but the scripture of Christ and Belldandy just don't fit. The image is fine, but the concept of the text fails when placed alongside a character loosely derived from pagan mythology. If you had've chosen a passage that would've represented, or spoken of angels, then the wall overall would come out with a better feel. If memory serves me right, there are no goddess's in Christianity, ancient or otherwise. Just my two cents.

I think this would look better without the moon (which is just waaaay too far away from Earth and lacks lighting) and the text that looks too big and too cramped for the whole scene.
Also, I have to agree with the aforementioned comment that the text simply doesn't fit the scene - I know what you wanted to achieve but I just don't see the connection between Belldandy and the passage from the bible.

I missed the first contact my goddess, or my primary school age. I think it's very beautiful wallpaper do. Concise with no more than compose. Now many pictures are deliberately do very multifarious, I feel so lost the picture itself. I like your style, please continue

I couldn't agree more with blackened. The fact a text from the Bible is used is ok with me, but this text just doesn't fit the image, and the fact that it's John 3:16, which speaks about Christ and not some godess, is totally off, if not disturbing. The wallpaper itsself is fine, but the text just makes it annoying to watch for me. If you'd chosen a text about angels (Genesis 16:9 for example) it would've turned out a lot better I think. So nice wallpaper but the text just ruins it for me.

Well I have read the passage you suggested and I was willing to create a wallpaper as you had asked but that passage. In the translation I have. Totally, doesn't go with the wall. So, unless you can think of a better one that doesn't have an angel talking to Sari in such a fashion. Then I will surely consider revamping what I have into another wallpaper all together.
Hopefully, you can all tell by now. I did not create this wallpaper based off the show, as I have future commented within the 'soapbox' of the wallpaper. In this wallpaper she is just an 'angel'. One of the 'heavenly hosts' the bible talks about the 'shepard's' heard about Christs birth. That is all I am using her for in this wallpaper.
If I find another passage or something that will make a better 'everyday' wallpaper and not this 'christmas' wallpaper. Then I surly will create it for you all. So, I do hope this is satisfying to everyone.
