Great paper!

The background is a Ghost in the Shell image, yes, but that is not a problem. In fact, the combination is nice, shadows and illumination matches just fine. However, considering the perspective, the characters look very flat.

A more detailed description is appreciated.

I'm liking what you were going for, but as someone else said, the characters look very flat.

Reusing background images is a no no, especially from a completely different series, also the perspective from where the "camera" is and the angles of the faces are off, I'm sure they are meant to be looking at each other but it doesn't look like that in the least. Instead of just slapping a texture on top of the characters to make them look like they belong in the background, go in and fix the lighting and maybe create a better perspective for them, as some other have said this is VERY flat. Since these are both very recognizable characters you should be able to make them a bit smaller to create a better open feel, right now i would imagine seeing this image in a magazine spread then a desktop wallpaper. Its very busy and needs some work I think. Vectoring may help your problem with lighting and shading too instead of just using a high resolution scan.

I disagree. I dont think the characters look flat at all. Honestly i think this is one of the best (of the few) canaan wallpapers ive found so far. still looking for more too :)

I've been having a hard time finding good Canaan wallpapers, and even though I do agree with other posts that the characters look a little flat, this is one of the best Canaan wallpapers I've come across. I also really love the background, it fits well.

The BG may be taken from other anime, but it 's really similar to CANAAN's Shanghai setting, so I think the BG is okay... As long as you're not taking LOTR-like-BG and combines it with CANAAN (not matching at all).

Yay Wide-screen! I'm happy more people on the site have decided to go with the format. Nice choice of background, but I feel Canaan and Alphard should be a little further back just due the angle of the background. Anyway, great wall none the less!
