This one was made as a gift for my BFF, my little sis from the heart, LunaTsukino as a gift on our annual secret santa at SOS Sailor Moon Project Board. I've started searching for a good and big image of human Luna, but all that I've founded was the same old images... So I've decided to do my own colorization of a scan from the manga. Lucky me I already had this huge scan *-* It was my first colorization ever. For the wallpaper... well... I've tried a lot of cliches with moon and stars... but it was not what I was searching for... Then I came out with an old texture (that I really don't know who is the people that made it) and it just fit it. I've did a looooooooooot of versions until I get in this one that brings an "make up!" atmosphere on it.

First of all I'm so glad it got into the gallery and Happy New Year for 2010!!!!

For me this wallpaper is a New Years wall. It has the bright colors, lighting spots, and a very happy and excited Luna!! As well as the words go great for such a theme as well, 'Just for this Moment'. I know it has a little hint of romantic in it but for a New Year, what more do you really have but a Moment to celebrate its new dawn!!!

Anyways, I just love this wallpaper! Keep up the great work and you must be a great friend to make this for your friend!! Thanks for sharing; ::Angel::

Well,this looks quite nice...I do think the quality of the image could have been better,but since you just colored it from manga,it's ok... I think that you should have made her dress a different color or maybe added some pattern,it's too yellow,and blends in the surroundings too much..I also think the font is a bit off...but I do like the effect of it :) Nice wall for a happy New year's mood^^

I'm not crazy about how the texture overlays the character, and I feel you should have vectored the lines before you colored Luna to bump up the quality a bit. However, given that the texture does overlay the character, the lines aren't as noticeable as they would be with a different texture, so it doesn't distract from the wall. I love the font you used as well. Nice work!

I feel that the brushes and light textures are a little overpowering, but the composition as a whole is beautiful. ;)

You got the coloring for her dress spot on! Lovely wallpaper :) The font seems a bit much, but I like it nonetheless.

My favourite manga of the Sailor Moon series, by far! Just having Luna in this wall is good enough for me, but I also have to say that the colours used are superb. Can't believe this was a black and white manga drawing! Excellent job! |(n_n)|

I love the colors and text, but I wish Luna wasn't obscured so much by all the textures and lights.
