Really nice and simple wallpaper.

Beautiful shading done on the character. I love the cloth. I wish there were 1 or 2 more shades to lightly outline some crevices though.

Yep I like that scan too. You've extended it to fit as a wall, however I think it would have been cooler to paint in some cirrus clouds (actually any clouds really) to fill that empty left side. :)

Such a lovely picture! [Saber?] is astonishingly detailed and your work really shows it. Aside from the, in my opinion, the sleepy eyes look; She looks awesome. I think the background/horizon where the sky dust is could have been worked on a bit more, but then again, the focus is saber. :)

goddamn *******beautiful excuse my language but thats what i first thought of just the type of wallpapers i reckon that looks great on a desktop good stuff to the right and it carries on nicely to the left great vector/paint top stuff, damn this is just good stuff im kinda repeating myself but i hardly see wallpapers that look great, and also look great when actually used as a desktop im trying to save up for a wacom lol, i ve asked a few people what do you think about it?

Awesomly painted and vectored (outlines) I love this scan of saber u recreated. The background with the desert is fine too, just a bit too play imho, some stuff like clouds in the sky or maybe a sand storm or something would have been cool.

I like the quality of this, however I'm not a fan of the text on it. I'll likely rid of it myself before adding it into my rotation but this is still worthy of a favorite to me.

Great way to start the year! This is really fantastic: I love the imagery and all the subtle colours melting into each other. I absolutely love the ruins disappearing into the cloud of sand. It reminds me this part in Planet Earth when a sand storm rushes over a landscape and literally devours it; pretty amazing.

Anyway, Happy New Year and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more from you in 2010!

Oh you already made a wallie out of that scan.. well i was planning to wall it too but oh well ^_^' Anyway as usual i love how ya vector her, nice shadings and sharpness. The problem here is the big empty spot on left part of your wall, i agree with vita adding more depth on the dusts so some parts of the ruins look more visible. Next is the sky which is the big empty space from here i agree wit nysha adding some clouds to fill it and any clouds can do. Overall nice vector but i would be much nicer if ya remain the original scan bg ^^,

Love the way you extended the scan and painted Saber; the clouds look nice, too as well as the lighting on the ruins from the sun. I just wish the dust on the left side was less thick with more visible ruins...

Hi friend! When I saw the thumb at popular wallpapers for the day, I thought it was fate/stay night and it was..

I love the feeling of the texture of the BG..The blending is very nice! +fav

One of the best fate stay night wallpapers I've seen so far - especially considering the huge effort you put into it.

I really encourage everyone to have a look at the process of making the wallpaper. It shows the huge amount of effort really clearly. I first thought you used an existing scan.. I thought it's really hard to trick me to believe it was a scan rather than a vector+painting - but I think you've got me tricked. While the sandy ruins are arguably well done (I don't know, but I might be able to create even better looking ones), the foreground is absolutely amazing (Saber herself). Nevertheless the preview is not good enough to see all the shadows and light-parts on her clothing - one has to full view it. When I did that, I saw remarkably well painted/vectored clothes and a nice bunch of details on her.

The nice yet simple background allows the focus to stay on the foreground while taking away the feeling of "emptyness" (especially because of the clouds you added).

I'd be happy to see even more wallpapers from you with you using those new techniques of yours. This one definitely deserves a +fav.
