this is a quick wallpaper (I suggest you full view it :)). I found quite a few Touhou scans recently and couldn't really decide which one to wall. I liked all of them, but this one just stood out more than others:
After I got the scan, I first separated the girl from the background. Then I tried to clean the scan as good as possible without losing it to bluriness (I had to find a balance between possible artefacts and bluriness). Then I wanted to create that arcane circle under her in order to make her gestures seem like an attack (emphasize it). Last but not least I tried to darken the whole wallpaper a bit - because when you do a special attack in the game (I played the beat em ups) the screen goes all bluish and dark. This is what I tried to add here too.
It's really a quick wallpaper. I hope that you like it. Comments and favorites are always welcome :).

p.s.: I could create and upload a textless version for 1.6 and 1.33~ aspect ratios. Just drop me a line. The 1.25ratio version doesn't have the text as it didn't fit there anymore.

Hi div! it's been a while eh? At first I thought it was an umineko wallpaper, but it was touhou haha... I would prefer the textless version since I don't like the font very much ( maybe a much ghostly one would do). Nice cleaning the scan! I also thought that a darker atmosphere would be better wherein the souls are glowing but it's still a nice wallpaper.

Hi, I like your concept but I have problems with some parts.
I agree with Sheila-Ng about the font. It doesn't seem to fit into the wall, in fact it subtracts quality from it because it looks a bit too kiddy relative to the rest of the wall. Also, the blue tint of the background doesn't really match with the character, such that they look detached from one another. If you consider from a real-life perspective, the character should have a blue tint.
Great job though. Keep up the good work!

I like this wall! I love the glowing skulls, you've done a fantastic job of them...it gives the whole wall a kind of sinister feel to it! Plus the attention to detail you've given to the girls' dress is kinda awesome! I swear I can actually see the material move - well, maybe not really, but you've done a damn good job anyway! XD
