Sailor Moon 'From: Usagi and Chibi-Usa'

Hi;

This wallpaper was created for 'Match 6: Like Mother Like Daughter/Like Father Like Son' contest at Wallpaper Games.

This wallpaper was started back in '09' when I created the contest. I have been working on and off with it for a while but finally found the balance I was looking for.

I've always loved this scan.

And when I created the contest I knew I had to use it. No matter what kind of trouble it would be. And let me tell you that all started with the 'extraction' of the scan. That hair twists and winds and is bumpy and yet smooth and its everywhere!!! But in the end taking my time it was easy to tame after a few good sit downs with it.

From there I went threw like 3 or 4 or even more different ideas for it. I didn't want to make it just blend in. I wanted it to be cute and make some kind of sense. So, I used the bows from there hair and "tied" them up like little presents.

I was also thinking of this as if Usagi/Serena and Chibi-Usa/Rini were making something for Mamoru/Darien as a gift together. So, I used the 'ribbon and bows' as well as the 'I love you'.

Which does make this a pretty nice 'Valentines' wall. Don't you think?

Anyways, it was slow going and some how after some sweet brushes from DA. I ended up with a final version to this wall. So, I do hope you'll enjoy!
