you did a pretty good job converting the manga scan to a wallpaper the lighting is pretty kool, along with the color but i think theres something wrong.... is it me or does sakura have legs.... x_x

This one is simple yet incredible. I can tell you put a lot of work (and probably time :P) into it just by coloring it in starting with the black and white scan. Although you didn't control it, the angle of the scan and the placement of the sun rays are fantastic. Well done with coloring the sky and the birds as well!

Very very nice! The coloring is very good and the background is as well. The only thing is that the light coming down looks cool, but it looks funky on Syaoran. It just looks like blue streaks on him. Also, as shinsengumi said, Sakura doesn't appear to have legs....but wow! This is absotively amazing and this is going on my desktop right now!

Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicle is a manga that moved me too, this scene especially is a bit of like is the relationship to Sakura and Syaoran. I like very much the way like you describe your work, step by step. All the elements like the brightness, the colours, the details are perfect.

You walled a maga scan, and that itself is amazing, because it's not a scan that everyone want to make into a wallpaper... rare artwork :) The quality is really good, it's awesome that you redraw all those parts!! The coloring is gorgeous too! Hehe.. yes, as melubcookies said, Sakura's legs are missing, but I can't find them on the original scan so it's not a problem ^_^' Keep up the really nice work!!

You did an extremely job well done. You cleaned it up perfectly and the coloring is gorgoues! I wouldnt thought the scan was colored already if you hadnt told us otherwise XD

The sky, most noticeably, is the part that makes me stare in awe the most, its just beautiful.

Mmm I see you've done a great job with the cleaning. Though I must say the background is a bit lacking as it just looks like you threw on a cloud render and changed some settings, and they don't look that much like real clouds or a real sky. Instead, I think you should have just made a sky gradient and manipulated clouds from stock photos or even better yet, paint over clouds from references to make the background look more like a painting. I guess that's what bothered me as the characters don't really seem like they blend too well with the background. I really do like the blur you used over the closer birds though.. it's very effective and the cel coloring you did is exceptional. Anyway, keep up the good work and I do hope to see an improved version in the future (:

WOW!!! SQUEE! LOVE!!! You did a great job with coloring the picture! The colors are really nice! How the sunlight just comes out in rays across Sakura just makes it look stunning! The sky looks absolutely stunning. Just the number of birds and the image just stuns me to the core. The sun should be in a different direction because with the colors that you use, it seems as if it's a partly cloudy day. The bird wings that cover the top right portion of the wall seem a bit unusual, but with the number of birds, it's easy to ignore. I love the font. Everything about it is great! GREAT JOB! XD

Very well done, it looks almost like vectors. Anyway, Sakura does have legs in the picture. Look under the skirt, those are trousers/pants underneath. Remember that Sakura's world is a desert world. Hence, their clothing fashion must incorporate practicallity too. Just a skirt with no leggings underneath and sand will find its way in...

The sunlight effect with the pic goes together really well. Good job with clean images too! The children are sooo cute!!!

I don't don't know which is more beautiful, this wallpaper, or, the caring sentiment you attached to it as a tribute to your mother. Looking at your wall and reading you description really did almost move me tears, and I am not so easily moved. I truely belieave seeing this wall and knowing from whom it came from would no doubt put a smile on her face.

Instead, I think you should have just made a sky gradient and manipulated clouds from stock photos or even better yet, paint over clouds from references to make the background look more like a painting. I guess that's what bothered me as the characters don't really seem like they blend too well with the background. I really do like the blur you used over the closer birds though.. it's very effective and the cel coloring you did is exceptional. Anyway, keep up the good work and I do hope to see an improved version in the future (:
