Beautiful vector and changing the pattern of her dress.

I remember I eyed this scan a while ago. My friend and I were all drooling all over it. He kept telling me to make it into a wallpaper but I didn't take up the task.

It's always fun looking at the progression of wall. It's cool how you changed the atmosphere of the wallpaper. It feels like it's in the afternoon instead of night. No doubt that the vector was done flawlessly.

I just wish the same contrast was kept in the original scan. Not sure why you changed her hair color and eye color. She needs to have her yellow hair with pink shading and deep blue eyes. :)

Patterns on kimono are really beautiful ^^ in any case, wonderful work, but i see on the leg a big thick line, it would be better if you resized it +

I absolutely adored that illustration, and your vector captures it beautifully. I like the color changes you made as well, especially with her hair. I did like the original kimono design, I think it would have been cool to see the original pattern with your color scheme.... yeah :D

Wow.... That yukata looks touchable its so good. I'm still a fan of the original but saying this is not as good would be a sin. The lighting is so perfect with the rolls in the fabric too.

The one thing that catches my attention is that Sheryl's eye are a weird shade of yellow. That combined with the way she's sprawled out made me think she died of kidney failure. =P Other than having an odd-looking left hand to work with, the wall is absolutely breath-taking.

Awesome! and you did this all using Illustrator? I know a lot here in the community prefers PS even when vectoring. The batik pattern on the yukata was done skillfully and yeah, it is cooler when you used it. Lighting, shadows, highlights are just pure magnificent. Truthfully, I have second thoughts when viewing the thumbnail. Come on, the subject is not a bishie. :3 Hahaha. When I went through the walkthrough, it was more interesting viewing the whole wall. Vector is definitely very nice, and your yukata design is just as incredible (even if it's not the original). I love the colors that you used, but I would have liked to see the original colors for the character -- stick-true-to-the-anime kind of thinking.

Amazing kimono transformation you have here. I love this and the original too. I also liked how you changed the color setting. Its sets a different mood in your wallpaper than the scan. Kind of like the different phases of the moonlight shining in the night.
