Well, 2nd submission for the gallery =D This wall took alottttt longer than my first one on D.Gray-Man.. but I really think it was worth it, in a way. I saw the vector of the SOS Brigade in the scans gallery and remembered my love for the show < 3 so I thought of making my next wallpaper out of it.
It was really difficult in the beginning, because i had COMPLETE artist's block on what I wanted it to l0ok like ==" I had many styles planned for the background and such. One of my original ideas was to create a similar style background to this
..except using much, much more vibrant colours.
I faced alot of problems/issues going about with that idea though so I scrapped it. The current background it has now, only came about when I pen tooled a wave shape on the bottom right, where Haruhi is. That's when I finally thought of something =D
This wall, literally, was a pain in the butt -_-";; but oh well xD Another accomplishment (Y)
I had to draw/pen t0ol pretty much everything in the wall.. which is a first for me lol. I usually add lots of brushes and textures and such.. but rarely in this wall. Everything from the base shape of the trees, to the small circus silhouettes, the spades (the pattern on them were brushes though); all the details on the foothpath; the sunburst (again, patterns are brushes); and the grass was completely me + pen tool T_T I didn't pen t0ol ** _every single strand** _ of grass in the wallpaper though o_o That would've taken forever.. til Kingdom come o_o
The part that I enjoyed making most in this wall would have to be the grass. I made the grass via a number of filters and some smudging on the edges of the field, footpath, and Asahina's and Nagato's spades to make it l0ok a tad more realistic.
On the bright side, I Found this wall quite a challenging (and legthy), yet beneficial experience :)

Note: what may l0ok like artefaction on Haruhi's clothes is actually a texture added by the vectorist.

This is way better than your last wall =D Love the grass and the vector you used for the wall^^ Only thing that bothers me a bit is that the edges of that spiral thingie, they are kidna fuzzy/pixelated on full reso. Other than that it's a really nice wall and you did a great job on it <3

Nice design but kinda lacking a finish touch. Learning to vector can be useful in this case ^^ Keep leveling up.

Interesting concept. It just needs a bit more polishing.
As mentioned, vectoring the characters would have helped this in terms of quality.

Alrighty, so I said I'd comment and it's almost been half a year since I last commented but here goes nothing!
Well, first off I have to give you major points for creativity. You did a great job sticking to the whole "Alice in Wonderland" theme, and for the most part is pulled off rather nicely. The randomness of it all really gives it such a feel. To be honest, I'd want more of that Alice feel, because while it does have some of it going on it still feels a little barren. I especially love the heart-mess going on by Haruhi. I totally would of used more of that in the wallpaper and hands down is one of my favorite aspects of this wall. I also especially love the background and how it swirls, once again creating more of a distorted feel to it, as if it's pulling me into this crazily awesome world.
I don't need to mention the great choice in use of characters. Putting Haruhi out front and center like that really makes her the focus and rightfully so, especially if you've watched the anime series before. Otherwise I really like the placement of the rest of the cast as well throughout the background.
If I had to have a complaint, it would most likely be that there needs to be a bit more. Although, this is more of a personal feeling because I feel there needs to be a bit more chaos and insanity, but I do feel that there is great potential here as well. You've certainly improved a significant deal since your first wallpaper, so I can only imagine what you have in store for the future. I hope there will be more creative attempts like this one here.

I can't believe this is only your second wallpaper! You have some serious creative skill! There's a little blurryness and it's a little rough around the edges but I have the feeling you're gonna be a great waller if you carry this on! Good luck!

oh seriously i think this wall has some nice design from my perspective, just need fixing and good execution to go better like the orange swirls behind, i think it's good addition, but why in orange, that color is too drastic compare with other color that dim also you may consider choosing realistic or not, cause you try to make realistic grass but the trees not, how about make the trees like the tents silhouette, i think it's already nice that way, or just made the grass solid color also, we will know that green color will be some grass ^^ anyway abstract wall is nice just try to make some blank area so eyes can rest, in abstract usually you made crowd in some place or just one place other places could be blank or just simple illustration and last keep continue forward :D
