Good job vectoring this!

The scan is handled quite well overall. The skin color and brushing is very attractive. Recoloring was a nice touch to it. The eyes... look really good. It makes me want to lick them. :)

About the hair, you didn't do too bad. Hair is generally the hardest part of the scan imo. The "clashing" begins when the hair wasn't rendered as smooth as the scan. Some places are brighter compared to the scan. I think maybe at least 2 more shades in the hair would have helped it become smoother.

As for the redness in the hair that shaded underneath. I'll give you a tip. When I was doing my last wallpaper, some parts of the hair and clothing had a second color added to it (ie: pink with purple on the clothing). Merely color sampling and mixing was not enough because it did not have the same effect and depth. So what I did was just do the base color (pink). Then I added transparent layers of the color that shaded it (purple). When you combine this with gradients you start to get the natural looking effect similar to the scan. I hope this helps because I found the difference to be huge!

This is what I call "instant-fav"!!!

This wallpaper has such awesomeness combined that it's even difficult to describe the feelings I have while looking at it!

1. Amazing, strong colors.
2. Absolutely lovely gradients (due to painting).
3. Clean lines where they are needed - and none there, where they'd be distracting.
4. THE BEST ABOUT IT: the eyes... they seem so highly detailed, that I almost can feel their fire and fierce upon me - even through the tons of windows I have now. Gorgeous!
5. The background fits the foreground very well - not too detailed, yet detailed enough to match the overwhelming quality of the foreground to the needed extend.

I'd fav this one many times - not just ones - if I could. I vote for this to be highlighted!

Thank you very very much for sharing this piece of art with us. But it's not like you are unknown :D I remember seeing quite some walls that all looked amazing. This one somehow seems to top them in terms of the visuals.

Nice atmosphere and very beautiful Moka-san but the decorations on the chest are a little bit confusing: are they on the dress or on the air ? Anyway, good work.

I am a huge fan of the Manga aswell compaired to the anime serie and I so love the full powered up side of Moka in the manga she is really cool and this wallpaper only shows why no words needed to explain it has been vectored really nicely and shows our beloved Moka the way we all like to see her ! :D

I'm not familiar with the series, but I just had to take a look at it anyways (I find myself doing this more and more lately...) The vector looks great, and I really love the eyes. The background is also amazing and I love the over all feel of it. Awesome work. Gonna have to +FAV :)

Ah! I wanted to wall this scan too! It'll be tough to match up to this, so maybe I should give up, haha. Anywho, great vector, and very nice coloring of the skin! The BG also looks great with her, hehe. I like her eyes! As for critique, I do have a little bit:

I think the style of the hair is a little too metallic for the coloring of the skin, but it's cool metallic hair, lol. Ah, another thing about the hair: because the outline of the skin is lighter than the hair, it doesn't quite look like her face is surrounded by hair. I think it would be better if the outline by her temples were darker (and in other places where hair can create shadows).

I also think the outline for the beads and chain on her choker are too light and makes them look flat and like they are floating on another layer. It looks strange compared to everything else because it's the only thing that lacks a deep outline.

Lastly, I feel that the purple, although very nice looking, doesn't fit the color theme, which seems to be reds. If she is standing in such a red place, the lighting should be reflected on her as well. Her skin is pretty good, since it's a really warm color, but the purple clashes a bit too much for me.

Wow, excellent work! It's very clean, vivid, and detailed. :D And props for the eye details - they look like they're on fire. I think her elbows are a bit round and could be slightly pointier though. The hair is way different from the scan (color wise - I like purple! :D ), however it looks "hard" compared to the soft tones in the skin and other places. More details could be painted in the hair too to make it softer and stuff. Lastly, I think her necklace should have a shadow on her skin! But really good job, been a while since you've walled. 8D

The background looks very nice, the moon, and the coloring is really good. Moka looks even better, her eyes dress, her skin, she fits the background well. Nice wallpaper.

hi.. nice wall..just reading your author's intro, thought you could try using illustrator...your file size would be smaller and i imagine a 260mb psd file would take up soooo much of your computer resources ... well..basically the core of illustrator is the pen tool, almost the same as doing shapes in photoshop. again, nice wall =D

Wow, I really like the way you painted her skin, eyes and hair. Nice job on that, indeed. I just think the outlines on those pearls could be darker since they're currently lighter than the colors inside and the moon edges could be a bit more blurred...

Dark + Sexy = Great Wallpaper

I've got to say that this is the best Rosario+Vampire BG I've ever seen. It's just an awesome background and I'm defintely using it for Halloween this year.

i think this is great... nice hair, nice bg, and the eyes is the best part some shade below her neck, and her hand i think need some darker color, cause some item look weird ,like her necklace, also some part on her hair somehow not fully fill the outline, but it's just some detail comment XD good work^^

It's kind of hard for me to avoid anything involving vampires. ;) I love the painted background, especially the moon and the the colours used overall really helps to set the tone. I like the composition of this wall. Everything looks superb until I noticed the hair. In my opinion the hair should be white/silver. The silver hair, red eyes and the rosary (or lack of one) are defining traits of the character. If you change one of the defining traits of a character, then you don't have the same character anymore.

This is a very beautiful piece based on Moka.

I've been away from Anime for a few years and have found myself being drawn back into it. In fact, this wallpaper, helped to remind me just how much I love and miss it. Very beautiful. Excellent work. You did great job!
