The character is Ikaros (イカロス)from Sora no Otoshimono (そらのおとしもの). She is an angeloid who fell from the sky so I thought I would blend elements of the sky and the earth. I thought the vector really showed her innocence so I added the light elements to hint at her true powerful nature.
I would like to thank akiranyo for a great vector rendering. Enjoy!

Thnx for using my vector, is not a bad wall, but I think it would be better with a brighter background - daylight at best, and I would lessen the light effects, is not good to cover too much from a character.

It's strange how many times I see people use that brush; I never saw much appeal in it, but I guess it may just be me since it seems to be so popular. Moving on to the wallpaper, the light is much too strong and obstructs Ikaros's facial features a bit too much, and the direction of the light itself throws off the balance. The realistic moon and cloud is out of place in comparison to the 2 dimensional theme of the rest of the wallpaper. The tree contrasts too much with the grass too much, as the tree is a pixelated around its edges, its details also don't go with the simple (only word I could think of at the moment) grass silhouette. The grass also seems strange in terms of the large triangle shape.

I'm going to have to disagree with the other people who have commented thus far. The more realistic moon and clouds, I think adds to, not subtracts from, the feel of the wallpaper. I also like the choice of using a night theme rather than a day theme. I light of this the effect is not too overbearing. You could tune it down just a little to show more of the character, but I think you can make out the character enough as it is.
Now the tree and grass do seem a bit weird some how. I think it is just because the tree looks like it is half dead or dying and the grass seems to thrive, but I suppose that's possible. Just seems weird to me is all.
Despite the other comments, I really don't think this wallpaper needs any changes. Maybe the grass doesn't need to be as tall, but that's minor and not really needed. I really love it!

not bad but my question is where did the design from Alpha's finger come from? I like the background, i don't really care for the moon as other people have said otherwise. I would use this but that thing from her finger just looks out of place to me.
