Great work! I must confess I first didn'T like this wallpaper.. yeah.. because I don't like backgrounds that look a bit like cropped paper... it's really personal preference, but I don't like textures in the background and grunge-things. Since you offer a version without text and textures, I picked that one and it really looked amazing! Crisp foreground, nicely done background which compliments the perspective perfectly. Due to this the fore- and background blends together fine and the cold colors compliment the title of "last hope" and surely do remind me a bit of some screenshots I've seen of the latter Haruhi season 1 episodes (I didn't watch it, because I hate Haruhi herself).

i quite like how this whole piece glows after viewing all four versions i'd say the text+texture version seems to be the best, however i think i might've turned out better if the text was moved more downwards

Nice one. Never could understand what is so good on this character, (not a fan of the series too) but the wall itself is fine. +Fav

I'm not a huge fan of the text. In fact, the wall would be much better off without it. Text should complement the style and not distract the viewer, and in this case of a atmospheric scenic wall it's neither complementary or subtle.

I think you're at the point in walling where you can start adding in details that aren't there in the original works. For example, adding in a bit more shading and dynamic coloring to Yuki's face to make it look less flat and more vibrant would have really made your work stand out.

That said though, your vectoring work is solid, and I do like the texture that you added in the background. Keep up the great work :) You're becoming a better waller day by day.

I agreed with _halcyonTwilight _ regarding putting more of your own personal touches into your work next time. You could have played a bit more with the lighting, shadowing and overall BG setting a bit more to make the whole composition more unique…

As far this wallpaper goes:

The texture on the floor needs to be blended a bit better. Character’s clothes could have been slightly textured too (sweater, skirt) (textured version). Character’s shadow (floor) needs to be darker. Overall color scheme could use a bit of a blue tint. Farthest part of the BG could have been slightly blurred for depth enhancement.

Technically it looks nice (vector). It just needs a touch of creativeness to make stand out more, that’s all.

A very poignant wallpaper. Wonderful lightning, background, colour scheme and, of course, smooth and great vector lines. The typography, if a little big for my taste, has this beautiful glow and matches quite well with the wallpaper's title.
