Rozen Maiden Nostalgia

I like this, it's very good for a first submission, I must say. You should be proud of what you did. I know my first submission wasn't anywhere as nice as this. I adore the colors used here. One gripe I have is I prefer the signature on the bottom where it isn't noticeable. Also, the extraction is a little messy in some areas, such as the hand and the edge of the leaf on the rose. It's also a little jagged on the outline of the hair. And what is the black thick line behind her? Also, watch how you use your brushes, some of the clouds, you can see where the edges of the brush end; like right under the moon. Turned out nicely, but I didn't like the blue lines near the black ones, and the extraction of the character is a little croped in some part. still a nice wallpaper.

Her nostalgia is able to make her be turn to the light side. Purple colors in the wallpaper are very evil and cold.

Absolutely gorgeous. The background is perfectly in character, and the contrast between the clouds and night sky is beautiful. The background and character mesh wonderfully too. Fabulous work!

I think you did an awful good job with blending the text and render into the background.

If anything is off I think it's the block fonts below "Nostalgia"; it doesn't go with Suigintou's gothic doll outfit, nor does it convey nostalgia very well (especially as the curly "Nostalgia" does it so well).

Amazing! Its so crisp and dark =3 I particularly like the color scheme of Black and Purple~ But then leaving just the rose and text blue ^.^ Keep up the amazing work!

Nice touch with the blue rose.

I personally love the colours controls, with a slight yellowish hue. I've seen others use this scan with a white BG, and the effect is pretty clean. What you have done is great, putting effort into making the darkness complement rather than simply creating the contrast.

However, the cloud directly under the moon looks somehow cut off. Perhaps you might want to fix that one...
