Wow, really awesome work from starting with screen shot. Love the colors in the background, and the way you've done the shading that falls somewhere between anime and manga style :D You really create very attractive skies :3

You made this from that screencap?? Very impressive! And it only took you 3 weeks? You must have a lot of drive XD I like the bold colors in your version. But I think using deep colors for all the outlines would work the best. I'm against light outlines because I think they make things look even flatter than dark outlines, especially if there are some outlines are darker than others. If all the outlines have similar depth in color, the picture would seem more whole (in my opinion).

The clouds look a little like they've been made with watercolor, which doesn't really match the vectorness, hehe. If you smeared the edges of the clouds, they would look like cirrus clouds and I think they would match the atmosphere. Speaking of the sky, I think the purple at the top right corner may be a bit too sudden when compared to how much orange there is. Overall, this is a great wallpaper!

Awesome job and a +fav from me. Though I do have some critique: The right eye of the second-right character (the left eye we see, the smaller one) looks a bit odd - I think it should be a bit bigger. The right eye (her right, the left eye we see) of the second-left character looks odd as well. You might like to look into it - I can't really say why it looks odd, but imo it does. I agree that the qualty wasn't the best - and you did an awesome job on vectoring this. I did some vectoring from screenshots myself and thus know how hard it is. The shading is awesome and the colors you've chosen are nice. Finally the background works out perfectly! No issues whatsoever there in my opinion.

Now you know the kinda crap that I put myself through all the time (considering I ALWAYS vector of screenshots, force of habit XP). I love how you recreated the background and as always your vector/shading/paint combo style is as impressive as ever.

Nevertheless, I think you took WAY too many liberties with the characters this time. I grant, you are working off a super terrible screenshot with hideous linework, but still I will exercise my right to crit and point out that Uiharu and Saten...well don't look like Uiharu and Saten. Even Misaka's face looks a bit off. I'm not saying I could do a better job or anything but still, what I'm saying is objectively correct. I'd love to +fav this for effort but then I'll be lying to myself about loving the final product. You've done better work before.

P.S. Slight error on Uiharu's backpack, among other things (I won't stop being me XD)

Damn that sky looks amazing! Love the colors. I really appreciate the effort you put into this, the screenshot was really a hard source to make a wall out of. Only thing that bothers me are some minor color leaks and the lineart of the characters. It's a bit to thick imo, especially on the characters that are more in the background, would have given your wall more depth if you had applied thinner lineart on them.

I am definitely not getting an edgy feeling from this wallpaper. The big soft outlines and lazy warm colors of the city backdrop really mutes the excitement. The outlines on the characters feel funny - maybe because the outlines are too thick and are of similar colors of the fill. Otherwise I think you have done a good job working off from a terrible video source. I wish there were better and more material to work with with these characters.

the wall is awesome by itself, but the fact that it got taken from a screeny is pretty sweet

I lol'ed at the title XD Now I really need to watch this series to find out who the pervert is 8D XD The wallpaper itself is quite impressive, considering you got started with this screenshot only and turned it to what I can see now in front of me /(OoO)/ What I like most is, firstly, the outlines. They are not just simply in black but take darker shades of the colours they are shapes of. Secondly, the relation of and the darkness and lightness themselves. Thirdly, the background. These colours are just brilliant ( []-[])9 And I think that it is a better wallpaper as it is - without the wind turbines. That way, the focus concentrates more on the characters. Adding to my favourites :D
