I'm not a big fan of Naruto, but, waow, this one is pretty amazing...

I've already said most of my feelings about this wallpaper in Sessions...So for the realism and the clarity, +FAV! (XD)

yay monochrome wall ♥♥♥ i just love monochrome. wonderful use of gray colors, and gradients, it just makes the wall even better.not a fan of close ups though, but very nice wall indeed. I just think you should have made blood tear sharper, it kinda kills eyes... other than that well done +

I love your wallpaper here, But I think blood on Sasuke's eye could be more bloody colored and sharper, and also the effect on his eyes are useless, some nice vexels could make it better ^^ I know I made much critiques but there is a last thing, you can add a gaussian blur to add an anti-aliasing effect^^ Nice wallpaper overall.

I feel like you could have made the eyes red too, the blood wouldn't appear so much out of place then. Normally dual colored images have all things of one color colored if you get what I mean.

You did a great job on the hair and the water drops. I never found a way to get water to look like that >_> I'm a water n00b.

I have another point to critisize though: The vexeled outlines aren't smooth enough compared to the wall being very smooth in style overall, they are a bit too edgy and pixelated on highest reso. One tip I can give you to improve that in future works is vexeling the outlines in twice the size you need them, blur them a tad, just to remove the pixel stairs and size it down to half, looks as smooth as painted.

EDIT: I like the red eye version better. The focus lies on the eyes now and thus on the whole character somehow, makes the whole atmosphere of the wall appear rounder than just blood as eye-catcher.

So far, this is my third favorite of your works! Sorry I didn't comment here first. My browser was weird last night. Even though how many times I refreshed the page, your wall still doesn't show up. Anyway, his chin looks kinda weird to me because of it's shape, but seeing that the page from the manga looks the same, I have nothing more to say there. Oh yeah, WOW. From that small frame to this HQ wall? Ni-iiice one man. And just like the others have said, the blood tears look blur-ringly weird. Hahaha. Everything's smooth and then----**splat the blood on his face**. Well anyway, I still love it. ^^v Love the effects and lighting that you used. Monochrome walls are really something. <3

Pretty cool complementary wall. :D I like the details you've put in the hair. The gradients look fine to me, though there is this light gray one on the left side of the face that doesn't transition as smoothly (it's too linear and straight for the curve of the face). Keep up the good work!

The monochrome and gradient techniques that you used in this do make the wall really stand out, other than the similar wall by anbuu. The background is really pointless, sorry. You would be better off having a plain black background, than this. Maybe a backdrop of the leaf? Glad to see that you made the blood brighter so that it stands out.

I'm not sure about the blood, it stands out compared to the sharp vector and even rain drops. Except that, the wall is really beautiful, I love the simplicity and his expression.

I love how simple yet sinister this wall is. The look in Sasuke's eyes and the twisted smile are really enhanced because of the close up on his face and the background which help make Sasuke the main focus. I'm immediately drawn to his bloody eye because of the fact it is bleeding and it is the only source of color which I thought was smart. Overall, you did an amazing job. I hope to see more of your work in the near future.

First of all, I just LOVE the title of the wallpaper. It sends a chill right down my spine. You've captured the essence of Sasuke perfectly, not just with the title, but with the wallpaper itself. The monochrome and sharingan red combination are creative and original, and, *cough cough* might I just add that Sasuke looks UBER SEXY! That never hurts, lol. XD The vectoring is absolutely beautiful and I'm glad there's no text on the wall, because I prefer the simplicity. Overall, I have no complaints. Great job! You did Sasuke justice!

Your wallpaper remind me of anbuu's wallpaper (Naruto) it's kind a like yours..but anbuu is making it a 3D and as for you its 3D little and vector But i'd love if you make the eyes more details ..Anyways i love the water drop..Mind asking how you made it?! Or which brushes?

I'll break down my comment into a few parts. Firstly, I am impressed with the quality of the vector you put out. Considering the total lack of detail you have with the original panel you worked from, the details in the vector are pretty impressive. However, the hair vexelling, while an applaudable experiment, doesn't seem to be working right.

I think the main problem of your wallpaper is that you're combining vastly different art styles into the same wall. It is mostly a traditional 2D, flat, single-tone (meaning not gradiented) vector yet you are putting in other elements like single strand hair vexelling (normally used in vexelling real life people rather than anime characters), pattern-rendered eyes and 3D water droplet and the combination of these elements don't seem to be working with each other. It's like you can't quite decide what you want to do.

Since you mentioned that this wall is made to compliment anbuu's wall, a comparison between the two will inevitably be made. You tried to mimic the raindrops that anbuu used but what you probably failed to realise is that the very style that anbuu used to vector/vexel Naruto creates a more 3D feel to it, thus allowing the water droplets to look more real. Your Sasuke on the other hand is a traditional, flat vector so the water droplet seem to be sticking to my laptop screen more than on Sasuke's face. That and the fact that there are some issues with how you painted the drops on in the first place (on the hair and the droplet streams especially).

My final comment is that you're going to have to do more to the raindrops then just motion blur them if you are going to create the image of rain.

Wow, you really made the image your own and did some proper clean up on Sasuke. I think it's very stylish, very classy and non deserving of the character (yes, I really loath him). Anyway, your paper is, well, a rather spectacular piece of art indeed. Love all the keen attention paid to detail especially the hair and rain drops, my personal favorite aspects of the paper. The atmosphere is well-matched for him, love the concept as well, the whole scene is as good as it can possibly get. Well done!

The image,overall, is really amazing.It has many nice atributes that I'd like to highlight. Firstly, The water drops in Sasuke's face and in the backround arenice, because they don't distort the image nor make you focus on them. Second, I liked how you kept it simple and with few colours, and yet managed to transmit the whole feeling that the image represents. Finally, I really loved how you worked with the lights and shadows in the face,as well as the texture of the image. In general, the image gives an intriguing feeling,and it's mostly due to the few colours and Sasuke's smile... I liked it a lot,no doubt =) Nice job!
