Nice wallpaper Major ^^ I already love this vector, I found the sky interesting too ^^

Thanks Major. I like the effect of the brush, but get this.... This winter for some reason I started watching Chu-Bra and I think that it has ruined my thinking as a guy. When I saw your wall the first thing that I thought of was how bright and full of light it was. Then my eyes fell on Ikaros' bust.

Her bustier is too small. Over a period of time that will completely ruin the nice lines of her breast's natural contour. Get her a top with a larger cup size. The poor woman is being tortured for the sake of male titillation. (Damn that Nayu. Some anime characters are born evil no matter how innocently they behave. I'm losing the ability to objectify women.) ( T_T)/ Thanks again and I like the brush effect.

Ikaros is always calm and silent. Her ears are hearing sounds of the blue sky.

Wow. This is not the quality I expect from you. The background looks like you quickly scribbled out some clouds with a large, soft edged brush and added a lens flare for good measure. The chain around her neck looks out of place because it doesn't connect to anything and ends rather abruptly. Not one of your best, in my opinion.

its a cute wall, but it lacks more saturation and happy colors in it. also some lines are bit jaggy but somehow its really nice wall to look at ^^

Pretty nice wall, love the vector and the clouds =D

It's a nice concept, but i can identify a couple of problems with it. First of all, the vector seems kinda jaggy at some parts. Like if you look at her hair, there's some parts which seems jaggy. You can try and soften it with a soft blur. Another thing is the glow around her. I assume you placed it there to make her look more angelic, but i think it would look better without it because the softness of the glow and the sharpness of the vectors don't go so well together.

One final and crucial part is the clouds which makes up most of the background. I think the clouds needs more shape to it. Try searching for cloud images and use that as a reference for you to paint on. Maybe some additions of white birds flying around at the top right side of the wallpaper would be nice too. But that's just a personal preference. ^^

Really love your vector! But the BG could be something else than a blue sky... Although I'm not quite sure what to do with it. Hahahaha. Still, this is nice and simple. ^^v

the idea is nice, i like it. but the background needed more work(making clouds its difficult T.T), the glowing effect around her doesnt blend quite well, anyway i think you will improve by the time pass and with more practice and effort, and hey its in the gallery now n-n good work! and keep it up :D!

the glow is a bit awkward and the blur on the hair is a little too much, just a soft stroke should do. the clouds are ok but the upper part of the sky seems a bit too empty, try adding some birds or clouds or something to fill the space. Everything else seems ok and i'm sure you'll get better with time.

i think this wall has alot of potential, but spend more time blending

1) think about what colors your character should be. the background is all bright and fluffy but shes desaturated and it feels like shes under a shade because she is almost covered entirely in shadows. you can either (a) lighten your colors, and reconstruct the shadows or (b) put her inside by drawing a window or a roof or something over her.

2) people have already mentioned the glow around her. i don't really know what your reason for putting that was but the glow doesnt work because its just white. in order for her to really glow it needs to have yellow edges.

3) add some defining + sharper lines to your clouds for definition

4) your lines are quite jagged, although im not sure as to why. you should also remove the painting inside her hair, it looks a bit messy

Very well done. The sky definitely suits her (of course XD) but the composition i think is a little messed up for some reason. The glow effect around her is nice, her pose is a little awkward to be in mid-air but still pretty good.

I agree with mostly what everyone else said, especially about the clouds. The style you did the clouds in doesn't really match the vectored character, they're too blurry. Plus, you might want to fade the chain out more, since it just cuts off abruptly. I also feel you should outline the wings, since the rest of the character is outlined, and the unsaturated/darker character doesn't really match the lighting and the bright sky.

Good effort though!

Actually is quite nice, wallpaper with Ikaros are always so. But it can be better, and you also know that. Though also actually you are better as I was after 10 month walling. The vector is a bit jaggy on some parts, noticable mostly on the sides and you have quite a difference in line weight, some are a way too thick and on other part is none. And since is a sky realted/angel wallpaper, her colors should have more contrast. Her chain looks weird - you blurred the end too much, and as was said remove the paiting in her hair. I know what you wanted to do (the dark color in her hair) - but the best to do it with combination of countinous + fading gradient. Rest seems quite fine, maybe just more light from the left (direction of the sun). You will get eventually better, no problem. You already know more as most long time wallers of other (don't want to mention) sites. Good luck with future projects.

I think I've seen this vector before, and used t make a wall just like this. Either it's the same wall or I'm seeing things, whatever. I've seen this image vectored and used before, but think you've done the best on choosing an appropriate backdrop for it. The white glow kinda throws me off, but I really like the lighting effect. Nice job.

Truth be told Ikaros but your melons are totally distracting! :D

As for the wall, great effort on the vector and a good attempt with the clouds. Well, better than what I can do anyway!

nice job on the wall... really clean and neat..

however... i don't really like the blue of the sky.. i don't know, but to me since the girl has a pinkish reddish hue, i thought maybe a sunset bg look will suit better.. to go with the reddish hues... (o_o) maybe you wanted it to stand out... i'm not sure...

and the chain bothers me.. it's just cut off... i would prefer it remove.. but that's just me (XD)
