I like where you placed the leaves. It looks like you're taking a picture while you're on a tree. Also, it looks like a picture from an anime magazine like Newtype. You definitely fooled me. Very nice wallpaper.

wow this really didn't catch my attention at all, but when i full viewed it i found out that this wall is just so awesome. wish those were some other characters cause i don't like their design much, but still i think what you did paid off completely. i saw the work in progress and i think it would have been cuter if you left her with blush. also i love the idea of remaking the colors, its much better now.

Respect for making the background from scratch. I suppose that took some work. Should point out that some of the objects you put in look a tad bit fake (like the cans and the camera, esp. the camera which looks more like it's made from cardboard). Maybe a little more detail would've been nice but still praise for the general feel and overall effect. Clean vector w/ only some minor mistakes but the problem is the screenshot you used coz in that screenshot, some of the characters (esp. Hideyoshi) look a bit off wrt the rest of the anime. Also, I would have opted for slightly lighter outlines for the characters since you're using such soft outlines for the background. Nevertheless, I like some of the subtle touches you put like the graffiti and the texturing. Overall, it's convincing enough to be passed off as official art if you don't scrutinise too much.

All in all, +fav

Ah, this is one of those wallpapers that are 'just very good'. Quality vectoring, interesting composition and a great overall progress. The result might not be jaw-dropping, but it's definitely nice to view. I love your choices for colored strokes, custom background and added features like the leaves (including the shadow of a tree in the background, so you know where the leaves are coming from). It shows you've got a great eye for these things and I greatly respect that.

That looks really great, you so seldom see wallpapers for shows so focused on the girls featuring the guys XD The background you created looks perfect too, very anime styled and a great perspective (much better than the one in the screen shot!)

I agree.

The wall looks a bit plain in thumbnail but when you full view it looks gorgeous. I like all the texture you put into the background. It's just the right amount. The process was very interesting to see and the hard work paid off.

My only problem with the wall is that the characters don't look like themselves in the anime. As mentioned, the problem was the source. It would have been a good amount of work reworking their faces lol.

Uwahh fantastic job! There's just so much detail~~ A perspective that's not often walled, as well. I feel I should mentioned how good the sidewalk looks... usually when people try to texture ground it looks very fake and/or out of place.

Wow, I can't believe that you say didn't spend that long on this! The vectoring is great, especially from that screencap! And the background is very nice as well! I really like the colors. The show turned out to be a bit of a disappointment to me, haha, I was expecting it to be funnier. Anyway, fav!

Love the textures and angle of the shot. Colors look great too; pretty vibrant. Overall, this looks quite nice for something made in just a weekend (especially taking in consideration that the entire background was made from complete scratch).

I just finished watching this series and I quite liked it; just like your wall. It’d have been pretty neat if you could’ve also done a version with the girls (from ending 2), but hey… still you did an awesome job turning such a low quality image (screenshot) into this.
