Nice wallpaper, colors are nice, and bamboos are suitable as a background, but I something wrong with the outlines of his clothes, don't know what exactly, but they don't look very clean and discontinued.

When I saw this on the results list, I thought for sure it was yours, and when I saw that it wasn't, I was a bit like, "... hm." Haha! Anyway, congrats on getting to the next round! I really like the colors; they're refreshing and the wall gives off the feeling of a breeze that I can almost feel~

The parts I don't like are the blurry parts and the mist over his shirt. It makes me kind of cross-eyed when I look at them XD Also, the coloring on [strike]Hibari[/strike] I-forgot-his-name seems a bit thick (not as refreshing), but I'm not sure what to suggest to fix that.

Ah! Is that why you asked how I did my bamboo? A little credit for using that style would have been appreciated... (edit: :3) I think there's something odd about the angle the fence is at compared to the bamboo. o.o

GREEN!!! I love how some parts are smudged/blurred to bring out the emphasis on the character. Smooth and clean. Love it. <3

Nice paint work. I like how you did the highlights on this one. His eyes look really good too. < 3 I love the bamboos in the background. However i think the character should be placed more towards the middle and have less of that fence showing. Because currently the fence kinda steals the focus away from him. Everything else looks great though. :D

Nice~ Great work on the hair, it's so smooth~ The shadings and the eyes are awesome as well. His coat looks a little weird to me, it's a little blurry compared to the rest of the char, I guess. But it's only a minor thing, so I really love this wall~

the angle of the fence doesn't go with the angle of the bamboo trees so its absolutely weird. But i love the painting everywhere and i love what you made,especially his eyes and him whole. finally a wall from him but i even forgot his name, damn. gorgeous work except the fence :(+

Wow his eyes are captivating. This wallpaper is so fresh and absolutely lovely. Very distinct character, his perfectly toned colors are balanced by an extremely suited background. They both compliment each other and creates an air of structured softness that I adore. Outstanding work.

The bamboo was a good idea to match with Fon... Especially in this picture. He attitude is very strong, yet serene, and bamboo has that same quiet resilience.

I personally like your coloring much, much better than the original scan (and you did the hair better, too).
