This was my MT Knockout entry... well i lost, but i mean against chloe-chan, its like obvious xD it was a honor to battle with you chloe ;) good luck for the next round

about this wall i want to make it short this time:
scan used: clicktools used: ps for outlines and sai for painting (thanks pulver for lending me tablet) time: started 1 week before deadline and was almost late sort description: painting was hard, bg much harder...if you ask yourself whats the meaning of the clickshape in the sky i'll tell you, i wante dto make something that looks like alice in wonderland and since i tried to vector the clocks from the scan and failed i used brushes...ok? =__= about outlines on castle, yes they are quite too perfect but thats how i like it...i like if things looks neat and such..yea i am wuite proub of the trees in the bg hehe..
i had a 1920 x 1600 version for the knockout, but since i didn't like the right biuilding i cutted it of...but if you want here it is: click

Hmm, a decent coloring job, but lacks the ZOMGWTFBBQSAUCE-factor. The character seems sort of detached from the background (almost flat) and the overall atmosphere is a bit too... Not there.
If the sun were positioned where you have it, don't you think the buildings would have more shadow? Especially the one on the right, whose wall faces away from the sun... Same for the girl, her clothes, shoes, etc. Her dress is huge and blocking the sun from her boots so as you can see, the lighting is off...
It's all in the details... ^__~

Too damn lay to copy/paste from MT, BUT I love it ^^. THe clock in the sky is kinda weird at first, but it does add the Wonderland-touch you were looking for.

Very nicely done! I DO like the right building in the widescreen (1920x1200) version! It looks like a real painting, yet somewhat abstract due to the gears and clocks in the sky! Due to this and the strange/interesting perspective (point of view) this wallpaper really works out well and fully matches its title!

yeeei!!! Nice wall I love how well done are the buildings around her!! and the sky!! but I agree with others...she does not fit with the BG I know it's really hard to do...I use to have the same problem on my walls...
Anyway, I would like to say that in my opinion...it's a strange view for wonderland...maybe too normal? it would be something more special? surrealistic...? fantastic? I don't know...it does not inspires me wonder feeling...

I do like the wall as a whole, I think it's a pretty decent continuation of the scan. Though I do agree with the first comment on it seeming off, the colors and such. I think they need to be more rich and hold on to the BG itself, the painting seems too light to really grab the structure and figure well. Looks so light so it's hard to see, I only find myself staring at the character and missing the whole wall. Also the gears are a bit weird, I would've preferred the clock...the gears seem out of place. Overally, it's a pretty nice wall though. Nice score for the wall :3

ah its so cute, i love how you got the soft colors to combine with everything. I love the buildings though i think they look a little bit flat due to lack of stronger gray colors for more depth. But the painting on the girl is absolutely wonderful and i love the background ^^+
