It's definitely gorgeous - especially considering the fact that we are looking at a scan-based and not a vector-based wallpaper. I love the way you tried to reduce the colors to white, red and black - it suits the character (I just forgot her name D::...), her glance as well as the wallpaper. Of course the wallpaper is also appealing due to its contents - no question here. However if this wallpaper wasn't that well executed, it'd just get a good comment from me and that's it :D. This wallpaper however makes me want to add it to my favorites, because it's just so good. Also it's instantly going to my desktop and replacing Freya there.

Wow a not-vector wallpaper, which is kinda new from you. At first look i thought you vectored it since it is super clean and sharp, but as you said in your description it was a pure scan. The background is simple but nice way of focusing your character from the middle. Nice manipulating the colors too, and i love the striking white and red as a combination on this wall. Overall great traditional wallpaper! +fav! ^^,

Although it's not a vector, everything is clean and neat and I love the way you did it. You see the love for detail work here and there since many just render the image and then put it randomly on a wallpaper. Nothing can be wrong by chosing a loli character from Touhou :P I was a bit surprised that it didnt have any vector traces, cause the quality is really fine. I think you made the right choice, darker is definitely better and the final product is definitely better as the original source. How would I say, desktop worth? +Fav
