Kaze to Ki no Uta wallpaper Les fleurs du mal*
----- Full screen please! merci bien! ------
Gilbert Cocteau, Auguste Beau - Fleur Brisee et Poete Maudit** _ ... light and shadow... my desire to achieve that disquieting feeling so characteristic of the story...story that I am madly in love with... Chopin... _ Preludes Op 28 No 4 _ ... I had no choice, this wall just had to be like this! - choked and shady with some scanty light.
Quality of scan was really poor so I decided to draw the whole illustration once again. That also gave me much better opportunity in making subtle changes. You can see the result of my work here:
You will spot all differences after you compare it with the oryginal art - here in its oryginal dimensions:
All my work has been done using Wacome Graphire4 tablet +Corel Painter Essentials 3 and (finally) Photoshop CS3.

This is seriously classy! Love the ribbon, the attention to detail overall is fantastic! Lighting is really realistic! I love it all! Have a favorite from me! <3

The spotlight you placed on the upper left has made everything else look a tad too dark on the right side. I'm also interested as to what stocks you used to blend - whether it came as a whole or if you had placed the petals on the right over, etc...
Anyway, it's a nice entry.

I am not familiar with the story, but your reference to the Op 28 No 4, Chopin Prelude is a reference that compliments this wall well. With that, said the Chopin, still seems a bit darker than this wall.
I think I would like to muse at this one while listening to the 2nd movement of the Górecki, Symphony #3, Op. 36, "Sorrowful Songs." I think, the Górecki leaves the light hat centers in the kiss, and allows for the foreboding gloom of a final goodbye to something precious. Hopefully you will try my suggestion and let me know what you think. Until then, thanks for sharing. I think that you handled the subject very well.

I'm curious to see what this would look like if the characters were painted in. Because the rest of the background is painted so nicely :) Otherwise I love how you juxtaposed the stocks and the text - very elegant and classy. A nice take on the desktop/notebook theme!

The design is really beautiful, I love the layout and the way you modified the scan. It fits the real world better, among the papers and flowers which are all non-anime.

Thank you for showing the original scan so that I could see just how much work you have done on the paper. Your drawing is simply impeccable; it looks really neat and clean also I like that you chose to redraw the characters instead of doing a vector. I like their scenery and your creative concept. The characters are playing out a very subtle love story and the stage that you have conjured up is perfectly suited for them. The love note, envelope, pressed roes plus the style of text is a win in helping to contribute to their story, great combination. I think you have a great execution of creative skills. Thanks for the good work once again!
