The Endless Waltz

Whoa!

There's a lot of drama on this wall of yours. Aside from the setting you placed it, the most appealing aspect for me is how you meshed all those debris and simply made them real. There's a message on your text that I'd like to emphasize. I dunno if you wanted it to portray this way but if you made some contemplations on your wall it really does have a message. On the right side of the wall, there's war and agony, and on the left, space remains untouched and undisturbed from the machinations of our tiny planet. It kinda shows how insignificant we are and that if the world ends because of us, no one will know.

Anyway! This is the second time I've seen a Gundam work this quality. The last one I liked was the "Clash of the Titans" wall for Gundam Seed (I'm sorry if I cannot recall who made it). Fantastic work!

This is awesome! I really love your progress chart, it reminded me of my laziness and boredom while vectoring xD like "Vectoring....... A line..... Another line.... why the hell are my walls still white and don't have some unique badass color?! Wow, there's still homewor-- another line~" XD I really love the vector @failedabortion made! It's awesome! To get such an impressive vector out of some bad quality pic... Also, I love the coloring and the bg you made! It looks like it's actually part of an original picture :D Also, the battle damages are really detailled and that makes the Wing Zero look even better!

Damn...

This wallpaper has so much sweet destruction in it. All the little details on this wall are insane. The gundam drifting off barely holding its own shape is so nice. Broken wings are delicious and all the parts floating everywhere. Battle damage addition really changed the mood. It went from being nearly destroyed to clinging on for dear life on the brink of destruction.

I like all the little tiny orange dots of fire and laser beams. The stars were nicely scattered across space. It drags your eyes across the wall. There also isn't an overwhelming amount of them. A nice balance between negative and positive space.

The only thing that annoys me is that I keep wanting to drag the horizontal scroll bar to the right to see more. If the gundam was extended and moved toward the middle of the right it would be set. But I know after 2 years it's like, "@#$% be done already!" Redrawing a good part of the wing would take a great deal of time and bashing your head into your desktop.

It's been a long time since I've seen a Gundam Wing wallpaper and this one is absolutely gorgeous! There are so many details in this image that I can't even name them all. It's just beautiful.

Wow, I havent seen Gundam wing wallpapers in a while. I say this is one of the best detailed wallpapers I've ever seen. Each stroke and scrap of metal was nicely done. Every freckles or sparks and every scratch in the gundam was so detailed it left me in WOW!

One thing that really made me do all this time while full viewing the wallpaper was that I kept on dragging the horizontal bar to the right because I thought there was more ( ocz I keep wanting for more). XD

You two did really great work. Up close I love the debris and little details all over. Yay, my res too. >D I was thinking the left said could resemble star fields some more, but I love this anyway. :D

This wall is just gorgeous, the details within the sky create such an awesome look. It really does give it a cold, space type atmosphere. Although I do think the attention trails off the gundam itself, it's in such a tight space and the rest is so massive compared to it so it's a big hard to appreciate all the detail in it...though it does certaintly do well to pull that attention in even though it is in that area...(really hopes that made sense).

zomg insane detail! =0 This is totally amazing, I love everything in this wall. The debris looks awesome, and everything in this wall looks just done right (coloring, bg setup, shadows and highlights). I would also liek to see more od the gundam, that's probably just the amazing quality makes you crave for more XD I would give 2 favs but I can only give one D= +fav

This wallpaper just looks so amazing It's just that that due to the lack of the Earth's horizon/albedo distinction under the Wing Zero's right arm, the Earth seems to be emanating oddly out of the MS' glow... But hey, my hat's off to you guys for the awesomely re-creating this MS; it's as if you guys were experienced model kit artisans by so skillfully carving out the details to debris and degradation to zero, therefore creating a whole new "Wing Zero Custom" which pawns the perfect grade! Please accept my humble fave, and please make more Gundam walls in the future for us, the gundam fanbase! +

oh maan, I love this wall! I really like the positioning of..well the whole thing. seems like it adds drama from the way it's balanced and all that space makes me think of Heero's character XD. and love how you kinda slipped in the text, nice and blended. Just seems like there's a lot of themes going on and really capture the series/movie. Brilliant!

Just wow. Instead of showing the whole Gundam you only show half. It works as its a wide screen wall. Space for icons and just to stare off into space.

I really like the concept of this wallpaper and I'm an avid Gundam fan. I wish that there was a larger scan that could be used though. Oh well, still very nice wallpaper good job!

Welp, this is getting a favorite from me! I don't think I've fell in love with a Gundam Wing wallpaper as much as I have with this one, so I thank you since the series is particularly nostalgic on a personal level!

I feel like you created a great background for this piece giving the blackness of space touches of color with stars, nebulas and other cosmic bodies. The small touches and finishing you used are also particularly notable; I especially find the battle-scarring on Wing Zero, the fire-fight taking place in the distance and the destroyed mobile suit drifting away well done.

Seriously though, it has amazing depth to it with the debris falling & the earth.

BTW, I like the process of making this, especially steps 3 & 4.

The clean lines and detail when it's actually fullscreen is fantastic! The lines/cracks on the wings give it a battle worn and beaten feel which is at odds with the clean and generally well defined clarity of the wall but still manages to mesh really well together and gives it an overall intense feeling. I like it =] Good job!

Gundams !

WOW is the first thing that came out of my mouth when I saw this wallpaper, the placement of Wing Zero is great! Anyone who looks at it is able to focus on it and then the ominous space to the left is also wonderful to just gaze at. Very nice work!

This is Absolutely GREAT!!

Excellent wallpaper. It's beautiful and has great color scheme and composition.

I especially like the effects around Wing Zero and Earth with the glow effect in contrast to the empty, dark abyss of space on the left, both from a layout point-of-view (good for icons on right side) as well as a composition point of view. The gradual shift from the content-heavy right side (Wing Zero) with a smooth transition into space via debris and background (i.e. other destroyed gundam and space station) felt natural and unified.

The destruction of Wing Zero also feels very fluid, as if happening in real time and doesn't feel static or staged.

I generally don't like text much in wallpapers, but this was tastefully placed with a color and texture scheme that melded in with the wallpaper, matching the surrounding content (explosions/lasers with red text, and the breaking up of the wings and the stars with the silver, layered text).

Here it goes. The Gundam that is highly respected and adored by most fans. The XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero Custom.

It's weird but I like how WZ isn't at the center of the wall. The broken parts flying are pluses, and the exposed frame of the Wing Zero. Great lighting, I hope I'd see that pose of WZ in real life. That that will happen to WZ after peace has been obtained. Either left in space floating, with no one to touch it, or Heero self-destructs it---no, he blasted it with his Twin Buster Rifle after firing three times. Gundams will always be the symbol of those who want to bring back peace and order. As long as those aren't obtained, they reappear in time.

From "Clash of the Titans", then this... I hope I will see Unicorn with a wall as great as the former two. +1 for you, good sir.
